Segunda Mano ni Joyce Bernal;

National Artist for Film Eddie Romero (chairman), FAP deputy director-general Robert Arevalo, Directors Guild of the Philippines secretary Jose N. Carreon, Philippine Motion Picture Directors’ Association president William Mayo, Production Designers Guild of the Philippines president Manny Morfe, United Film Editors Guild of the Philippines president Jess Navarro, director Elwood Perez, at actress-director Gina Alajar.

Better settle for Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa. It's show's filipino art and culture in it's finest! Independent movies are really good movies compared to the mainstream.

Manila Kingpin would be the kind of movie Oscar voters would go for. But honestly, if they really want to be a contender, they're going to need to find a distributor who can release the film even in limited engagements in LA and NY. Screenings for voters are not enough. If they are really serious, they'll need to get mainstream attention.

NO ENTRY. imo, the Film Academy should have nil entry or submission this year. Really, there is no film this year or the later part of last year with such excellent quality worthy of Oscar's. The films suggested which either deal with gay lifestyles, or about violence and corruptions, or about squatter's lifestyles etc etc etc are NO good for the country because it only highlighted the NEGATIVEs of the country of the Republic of the Philippines.

and in other countries, all of ABS CBN Star Cinema movies are under PAY PER VIEW option, meaning HINDI sa mga sinehan ipalalabas kundi dun sa tv mo mismo kung magsa subscribe ka.

Praise release, brainless times two ka rin pala. Roberto Benigni, Marion Cotillard , Javier Bardem and Marion Cotillard are all foreign actors who were been nominated and won the Oscars for an acting category in a foreign film. na nominate sila sa Oscars dahil ang mga pelikula nila ay ipinalabas sa regular viewing days sa US cinemas, ibig sabihin hindi eto special screening na kagaya ng ginagawa ng mga TFC movies na pinapadala dito sa US.

Unfortunately, her acting via Segunda Mano is not worthy of any nominations, local or otherwise.
