Charice's manager questions Pinoys who rave about Jessica Sanchez: "...it's kind of wrong to say Jessica is part of Filipino pride when she is American before anything else."

"If only the people of the Philippines would stop looking elsewhere and focus on local things, maybe they could see the value of many of  the great people and resources there," says Charice's manager, Courtney Blooding, about Pinoys who are raving about Jessica Sanchez (left).

"Ph can't claim something that is made in USA. And they only wanted to claim Charice after people in the USA put value in her.

"It's wrong for both singers

"sorry, I'm just feeling a bit indignant about the situation..."

NO PROBLEM BETWEEN CHARICE AND JESSICA.

Whether born or raised in the Philippines, basta may Filipino blood sila at values, I can still call them Pinoys. Just like Anne Curtis! She loves the Philippines though she grew up in Australia and her Dad is Australian. Kaya, love na love ko si Dyosa. And I will watch her new movie, A Secret Affair! Watch nyo sa YouTube yung trailer. :D

I have one name for you Blooding...Jeremy Lin. You could have kept your mouth shut because you are putting Charice in bad light more than anything else. It clearly shows why Charice is becoming to be impolite and arrogant. Someone is influencing her in a negative way. I will intervene, if I'm Raquel.

Proud naman si Jessica maging Pinoy kahit half, so what's wrong with being proud of her. Di ba Nene?

bihira pa kasi mga pinoy who get recognized in the world stage. kadalasan worker bees in healthcare, dh, laborers in any industry. invisible kahit magaling. kaya uhaw to embrace anyone tulad ni jessica na hindi nga siguro alam kung ano ang pinas, cannot speak a word of tagalog before siya sumali sa ai. sana yung deserving and proud of their pinoy ethnicity ang suportahan natin.

Blooding feels insulted and indignant, duh! we should be insulted she comes to this country as a guest and we who are very hospitable gets this comment from her as if we are stupid that we didn't know about Jessica's passport? That's just citizenship, we're deeper than that we arr talking about roots, lineage, race. Does Jessica need a passport on that, too?

here's the thing, Bruno Mars is half-pinoy with a pure pinay mom, we first admired his talent then felt a connection knowing we share a similarity with him kasi pinoy sya,but we never said "kasi Pinoy" and there's Apl.d.App whos is also half Pinoy and an international star who we again recognized for his talent and felt proud that he made it big in the land of milk and honey; then there's Lea Salonga who is a big name in theaters internationally and of course Pussycat Doll's lead singer Nicole who is so proud of her Filipino lineage and we like her because she sings well and dances well... all these international artists... and more to mention... were proud to be part of this country and we Filipinos welcome anyone who's first proud to recognize their affinity to our race, since Jessica is proud of her mom's origin we support her, and we support her because we believe in her and admire her great talent. it's all about talent and humility, if only Charice has an ounce of humility left maybe we will back to once again support her. Yun lang. Period walang comma.

aminin na natin, it is true na nakilala natin si Charice thru Ellen and Oprah, and? totoo naman talaga ah. At sino ba ang nagki-claim kay Jessica? she is American WITH Filipino-Mexican blood, that's all, we are only recognizing her, not claiming...

I used to like her kasi proud ako sa mga pinoy at sa narating nya but look at her now...nothing wrong na kilalanin si Jessica as pinay, hello half filipina sya, meaning 50 dugong pinoy.

Basta ako kay charice pa rin no matter what others have to say. We must be proud of our local talent than others na claiming to be one...

She has a point. It seems we Filipinos dont know what we really want. Kelangan pa i appreciate ng mga kano bago natin ma appreciate. we began to like both charice and jessica after america said they are good. we really have a huge pool of great talents here in Pinas. Just imagine if Elllen or Oprah guested Aegis on their shows. grabe cguro ang praises natins sa kanila.

i agree with her. it's funny how we always claim FILIPINOS who excel in US or anywhere in the world when we have all the talents in PH. sabi nga ni Joey de Leon nung hindi binabalita sa ibang station ang pagkakaron ng franchise ng EB sa Indonesia hindi ba dapat maging proud tayo kasi pinapalabas sa ibang bansa ang likha ng Filipino and to quote him "“Hindi yung pag nakarinig kayo ng, ‘O, si Jessica Sanchez…’ Nakikidugo kaagad kayo. Hinahanap niyo yung dugo. Para kayong mga bampira lang, e." he's actually right. there's nothing wrong being proud kasi HALF Filipino yan e but still we should be grateful to US kung saan inacknowledge ang talent nila Charice Jessica :D

1 You can be a Filipino and an American at the same time. I'm both and I am proud to be from both countries equally. Yes, Jessica is an American by citizenship but she is also a Mexican and Filipino by blood. Baliktarin nyo man ang mundo, yes Amerikano siya, pero she is just as much Filipino and Mexican. 2 it's disappointing to see fellow Filipinos here bow down to this woman who is obviously criticizing our cultural ways. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with supporting someone, especially someone who has the same ethnic background as you.

I Love Jessica but I love even MORE Charice dahil purong Pinoy ang batang ini.
