“It’s just difficult kasi between Paulo and Gab, when Paulo gets married he’s in the Philippines. When Gab leaves, I really, really think that he’ll end up staying in the States,” says Gary Valenciano on letting go of his two sons.

"His instructors have been e-mailing him, ‘We’re listening to your products and we think you have a place.’ And he said, ‘Okay, Dad, here we go.’”

Naisip niya kasi, “Sometimes blessings are difficult when you know that you’ve done well with your children but they have to go.

“It’s the thought na hindi lang sila aalis ng bahay, but we’re really opening our hands and say, ‘Okay, fly now. Fly over the bright skies now.’”

“I think they’ve already been talking about it,” sagot ni Gary.

“I talked to Coleen and asked her, ‘How is Gab?’

“She said, he’s a little, not torn, pero parang nararamdaman na niya na he’s about to leave.

“He’s never been away kasi from our family.

“Every time he needs us, we’re there.

“But he’s gonna be in Florida, very near my mom’s house and the rest of my family who are there.”
