PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) received a report from Aga Muhlach's lawyer, Atty. Michelle Juan, earlier today, March 30.
At around 6 earlier this morning, an explosion occurred on Aga's speedboat while in Caramoan, Camarines Sur.
Aga and his family were not on board at the time.
The boat's pilot, Jerome Pervera, sustained injuries on his leg, arm, back, and face, but is expected to be released tomorrow from the Caramoan emergency hospital.
Initial reports claim that the engine and gas tank ignited and then exploded.
Other probable causes are still being investigated.
Aga and Charlene have been secured in an undisclosed location in the province but are closely monitoring the situation.
They are relieved that no one was seriously injured, and are grateful for the outpouring of concern for their safety and security.
Aga is running for a congressional seat representing the fourth district of Camarines Sur in the May elections.
