Mayor Jun Jun Binay's camp says his aides brought out their guns because the village guards were getting too close for comfort to the convoy. The CCTV footage, however, showed that the village guards never left their post at the guard house.

Seen in the photo (left) was Mayor Binay, who seemed irate as he kept on pointing his index finger at the village guards, who refused to let him pass by the Banyan Gate of Dasmariñas Village last November 30.

FALSE ALLEGATIONS.

Aniya, “The Inquirer relied too heavily on a source who was conveniently not identified...

"Obviously, the source gave false and malicious information to the PDI.”

“The guards volunteered to go with the police. The video bears this out.

“This was also clarified by both the owner of the security agency, Mr. Ram Antonio, and the Makati chief of police in their interviews, but PDI opted to bury their statements," dagdag pa ni Lukban.

Paliwanag ni Antonio, “The reason we apologized is that we have an SOP [standard operating procedure] for three government officials.

“We extend courtesy, for security reasons, that goes for the President of the Republic of the Philippines, the Vice President, and the mayor of the area that we are guarding.”
