GETTING STARTED

Have you registered to All Access yet? If not, think of a username that reflects your personality and a strong password. TIP: For security reasons, you might want to consider using an alphanumeric password. Do NOT share it with anyone else! Once you’re ready, click here to begin the registration process.

Already a registered All Access user? Yay!

There’s no need to install any application. All you need to do is click on the PEP Talk widget. If nothing happens, you might need to check if your browser has blocked pop-ups. To do that, simply follow these steps:

Internet Explorer

  • Go to Internet Options>>Privacy>>Pop-up Blocker>>Settings.
  • Copy this URL under Address of Website to Allow: www.pep.ph
  • Click ADD
  • Click CLOSE

Mozilla

  • Go to Tools>>Options>>Web Features.
  • In the Block Popup Windows row, click Allowed Sites.
  • Copy this URL under Address of Website: www.pep.ph
  • Click ALLOW.
  • Click OK.

Enter your All Access username and password. Click LOG-IN and enjoy the PeP Talk experience!

After each session, make sure that you click LOG-OUT.

ADDING NEW PEPSTERS

Enter the username or mobile number of the person you want to chat with and click ADD.

CHANGING YOUR STATUS

Show your contacts how you feel or what you’re doing by customizing your status! Click the drop-down message and select a default message or create your own by selecting ‘Custom Status.’

SENDING AN INSTANT MESSAGE(PC to PC)

OPTION 1

  • Double click the username of the person you want to chat with.
  • Type your message in the box. Make sure that you are in the IM window.
  • Press ENTER on your keyboard to send the message.

OPTION 2

  • Click ACTION>>SEND IM.
  • Enter the username of the person you want to chat with.
  • Type your message in the box. Make sure that you are in the IM window.
  • Press ENTER on your keyboard to send the message.
There is no limit to the number of characters you can send in one IM.

SENDING AN SMS (PC to Mobile)

This feature is currently available to Globe, TM and Sun subscribers only.

OPTION 1

  • Double click the username of the person you want to text.
  • Select the SMS button and type your message.
  • Press ENTER on your keyboard to send the message.

OPTION 2

  • Click ACTION>>SEND SMS.
  • Select the SMS button and type your message.
  • Press ENTER on your keyboard to send the message.
There is a limit of 160 characters per SMS. There is a character count on the upper right hand portion of the messenger.

Sending messages from your PC to a mobile phone is FREE but the number of messages you can send depends on your carrier.

GLOBE

  • You have 30 credits to send to a Globe mobile user per day.
  • Everytime a Globe subscriber replies to the text you sent via PeP Talk, you will be given an additional 2 credits.
  • Example:You send a text message to your friend. Your credits are then down to 29. When your friend replies, your credits will become 31. If he texts again from his phone to PeP Talk, your credits will become 33.

  • If a Globe Mobile user receives 3 text messages from sent via PeP Talk and does not reply, messages from the PeP Talk user will be automatically blocked.
  • It costs P2.50 to reply to a PeP Talk message (phone to PC).

SUN

  • You have 4 credits to send to a Sun mobile user per day.
  • Every time a Sun subscriber replies to the text you sent via PeP Talk, your credits will be reset to 4 regardless of how many credits you have left.
  • Example:You have 3 credits left. Your friend replies to your PeP Talk message, resetting your credits to 4. You send two text messages and your credits are down to 2. If your friend replies, credits are automatically reset to 4

  • It costs P2.00 to reply to a PeP Talk message (phone to PC).
Credits reset daily.

CREATING GROUPS

Creating groups is a way to organize your contact list. You may group your contacts according to your relationship with them (Barkada, Family, Officemates, etc) or according to their organizations/affiliations (PeP, Kapuso, Kapamilya, etc).

To create a group

  • Click a username.
  • Click the ACTION button and choose MOVE BUDDY.
  • Type the group name in the field that appears.
  • Click MOVE.
Does your group-contact list have a lot of names? You may minimize the groups by clicking the arrow to the left of the group name.

DELETING A CONTACT

Want to clean up your contact list? To delete contacts,

  • Click your contact’s name.
  • Click ACTION.
  • Choose DELETE.
Note that you will still be able to receive messages from a deleted contact.

BLOCKING AND UNBLOCKING A CONTACT

Awww…don’t want to receive any more messages from a contact?

  • Click your contact’s name.
  • Click ACTION and choose BLOCK.
  • The icon of a successfully blocked buddy will change to red.

Want to start receiving messages again from a previously blocked contact?

  • Click your contact’s name.
  • Click ACTION and choose UNBLOCK.

EDITING A CONTACT’S USERNAME

Can’t remember who cutiepie52283 is? Confused between 09xx1234567 and 09xx1234568? You can rename them for better recall!

  • Click your contact’s name.
  • Click ACTION and choose EDIT.
  • Make the desired changes

LOGGING OUT

Done chatting for the day? Click LOGOUT.

TROUBLESHOOTING

My browser automatically blocks pop-ups. What do I do?

Internet Explorer

How come I appear online in my friends’ contact lists even if I have already disconnected?

It is possible that you did not logout properly. To ensure that this does not happen, click LOGOUT after every session.
