A Filipino actress based in New Zealand has booked a lead role in the upcoming New Zealand film Bad Romance (Aoraki Brothers production).

The multi-talented Janna Cachola, 22, actor, model and make-up artist, is the lucky Pinay to get the part. Cachola is the niece of Juvy Cachola and Jean Altavas (producer of Romeo at Juliet starring Victor Basa, Alessandra De Rossi, and Max Eigenmann).

Cachola, was also cast in Miss Saigon with internet sensation Paolo "Kimpoy" Feliciano.
