Check out da real boxing champ (WBO says so) and Saranggani Province congressman Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao's latest ride:
A five-seater Bell 206A Jet Ranger helicopter worth $427,000 or P18,062,010. 33!
Pac says it's not brand new and he got it slightly used. He had it repainted, got it a sharp custom paint job, complete with his trademark logo, and his name below a fist bearing the colors and the stars of the Philippine flag.
Ninong Manny said buying the chopper is a neccessity, as far as his being a public servant is concerned.
"Magagamit ko kasi 'yan kasi, ang Saranggani is a bulubunduking lugar. E, pag may mga importanteng ihatid, e, mas madali sa chopper," Manny said in an interview he had with ANC.
Unlike most Filipino public officials who steal from the nation's coffer to buy luxury cars and what not, Manny buys his toys from his hard-earned cash from boxing.
Manny has the means to splurge. He is one of the highest paid athletes in the world.
In fact, according to a recent issue of Forbes Magazine, Manny is the second highest paid athlete so far in 2012. He earned $62 million from boxing, endorsements, and product sales. He came in second to another boxer, Floyd Mayweather, who earned $85 million.
Manny's recent payday from his fight with Timothy Bradley was $26 million.
So, he can really afford to buy his family houses in the States, big mansions in the Philippines, a $220,000 Ferrari Italia 458 super car, and and Italian-made yacht worth $600,000.
