Who is this beautiful lady in Ang Nawawala?

Dawn Zulueta is the beautiful lady who will portray the mother in the 2012 Cinemalaya entry Ang Nawawala.

Marie Jamora, who co-wrote and directed this entry, is impressed by Dawn’s own interpretation of her mother role. “She brought something that I didn’t imagine while writing I was writing the script; she brought another layer,” says the director who has been helming music videos for the past ten years.

Dawn’s character named Esme has been trying to cope with the loss of one of her sons. Her son Jamie (played by Felix Roco) has been dead for the past ten years but every Christmas, she is reminded of his death because December marks the death anniversary of Jamie.

Her remaining son, Gibson (played by Dominic Roco) is also dealing with the death of his twin brother.

Former APO Hiking Society member Buboy Garovillo is cast as the husband of Dawn’s character.

Ang Nawawala features Original Pinoy Music and some of the songs were made especially for the film by Sandwich and Pedicab. The film will also show performances of Ebe Dancel and the band Itchyworms.
