Mariel Rodriguez started her "birthday week" by helping her husband Robin Padilla in taking care of monsoon rain flood victims, most of whom are their neighbors, in West Fairview, Quezon City.
As early as the morning of August 7, Mariel and Robin have been providing help to their neighbors. They have opened the gates of their home to flood victims who were seeking shelter and food.
On the day of Mariel's birthday, August 10, Friday, the Wil Time Big Time co-host served hot food to flood victims. She was later treated to a simple celebration by her husband Robin and their friends after their relief operations.
She also got another birthday celebration the day after from her fans and friends. Mariel is now 28 years old.
