Allen Dizon says he can identify with his role in Migrate because he has a lot of relatives who work abroad.

The Migrante actor also says he never thought he would be doing socially relevant movies.

Allen started his showbiz career as a sexy actor during the 1990s. He now gets recognized in films like Sigwa,  Dukot and Deadline, movies that present socially relevant issues.

He said doing movies like these is like a dream come true for him.

This interview took place during the presscon hosted by the NGO (Non-Government Organization) Migrante International at their headquarters in Cubao, last May 16.
