Inspired by Hollywood celebrities and musicians lip-synching to Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe," models Georgina Wilson, Bea Soriano, Solenn Heussaff, Isabelle Daza, Liz Uy, actress Anne Curtis, and their friends did their own version of lip-synching to the Canadian artist's hit song.
Goofing around with the "It Girls" to "Call Me Maybe" are their friends Raymond Gutierrez, Carla Humphries, Erwan Heussaff, Borgy Manotoc, Adrien Semblat, Nico Bolzio, Eric Dee, and a special appearance by Congressman Manny Pacquiao.
In a chat through Facebook, Solenn said the video was Georgina's idea. They started recording themselves during a Preview magazine shoot. Solenn, Georgina, Anne, Bea, Isabelle, and Liz will be featured on the magazine's June 2012 issue.
"Call Me Maybe" is Jepsen's chart-topping single from her first EP (extended play) Curiosity released last year in Canada. The song became climbed up the music charts in Canada, U.S. and U.K. Pop superstar Justin Bieber was considered instrumental to its being popular in the U.S. when he and girlfriend actress Selena Gomez tweeted the song numerous times.
Bieber and Gomez even made a music video with their celebrity friends Ashley Tisdale and cast members from the Nickleodeon show Big Time Rush. Their video became viral and had over 35 million views in YouTube as of this month.
Katy Perry also did her own home made video rocking out with her friends to Jepsen's song this month. Hosts from the show Fashion Police release theirs also this month.
In YouTube, users of the video sharing site also posted their own lip-synching videos of "Call Me Maybe."
