Ogie was in high spirits upon seeing thousands of people at his concert. For his opening number, Ogie got the audience up on their feet as he belted out "Sumayaw, Sumunod."

Before Ogie came out, the orchestra played tunes from Ogie's hits, including "Nandito Ako" which was sung by famous celebrities and was shown as a video collage (bottom). Above is the logo of Ogie's 20th anniversary concert.

Ogie then performed his current No. 1 single, "Kung Sakali Man," from his latest album The Great Filipino Songbook.

The people in the Big Dome got the opportunity to see Ogie up close and personal when he approached them while singing "Kung Sakali Man."

Ogie rearranged one of his first hits, "Ako'y Iyong Iyo," which he did in 1988. He was joined in this number by Nyoy Volante and Side A's Joey Generoso.

Ogie also paid tribute to his contemporary singer-songwriters by singing some of their hit songs with Lovi Poe and Dennis Trillo. Lovi is Ogie's "sister" talent under the management of Leo Dominguez; Dennis is Ogie's co-host in SOP. Dennis recorded  his own album under Ogie and Regine Velasquez's IndiMusic.

Of course, Ogie's 20th celebration would not be complete without his "small brother" Janno Gibbs. Ogie and Janno sang "I Believe In Dreams," an original composition of Janno. Ogie and Janno's friendship has also reached its 20th year.

Ogie and Janno also did their "OJ" portion in SOP where they made fun of their friendship to the tune of APO's "Awit ng Barkada." Janno joked that Ogie's celebration was successful because all the women he loved were in the audience. "Pare, 20 years, congratulations...at kumpleto sila, ha!" quips Janno.

Ogie, always a good son, paid homage to his parents, whom he said were the only people—aside from himself—who believed in him 20 years ago.

Ogie composed a song dedicated to his parents. He performed this during the concert with the 10 finalists of Pinoy Idol, where Ogie was one of the judges.

Hot Kapuso leading lady Marian Rivera once again displayed her dance moves to the tune of Ogie's "Dito Sa Puso Ko."

Marian gets a kiss on the cheek from Ogie after their number. Marian has appeared on Ogie's music video for "Kung Sakali Man."

Queen of Soul Jaya performed Ogie's composition "Sa Piling Mo," which was used as the love theme of the movie Captain Barbell, which starred Bong Revilla, Regine Velasquez, and Ogie himself.

R&B Princess Kyla sang "Paano Kita Iibigin," the theme song from the movie of the same title starring Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez.

Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla gave her own rendition of "Mahal Kita Walang Iba," which was used as the theme song of the movie of the same title starring Christopher de Leon and Kris Aquino.

Jaya, Zsa Zsa, and Kyla meet at the center of the stage as Ogie re-enters.

Ogie's compositions are often used as theme songs and title of movies, like Pangako... Ikaw Lang starring Aga Muhlach and Regine Velasquez.

Ogie's musical director that night was Gerard Salonga, who conducted FILharmoniKA.

Actress Iza Calzado's showed her graceful moves in an interpretative dance while Ogie was singing  "Kung Mawawala Ka," which was also the title of Iza's first soap with GMA-7.

Iza's performance with Ogie was one of the night's most applauded numbers.

Heartthrob Piolo Pascual was greeted with wild shrieks and thunderous applause by the Big Dome audience.

Ogie admitted that he had a hard time giving up his composition "Ikaw Ang Aking Pangarap," which was commissioned by ABS-CBN. Ogie performed that song with Piolo. Ogie was the composer of Piolo's first hit, "Kailangan Kita," which was also the title of a movie starring Aga Muhlach and Claudine Barretto.

Ogie highlighted his career on television by performing with his Bubble Gang co-stars like Rufa Mae Quinto (in photo), who impersonated Madonna (left) and Cyndi Lauper (right).

Michael V was a riot with his Michael Jackson (left) and Prince (right) impersonations.

Ogie was a "winner" with his take on Boy George (left) and Wham (right).

Ogie was able to fulfill his dream of becoming a dramatic elading man with no less than Judy Ann Santos as his leading lady. The two starred in a short film/music video directed by Ploning's Dante Nico Garcia with Ogie's "Ikaw Sana" as the theme song.

But, according to Ogie, he has already found his true "leading lady" in Regine Velasquez. The singing couple did a medley of themes composed by Ogie for movies that starred his lady love.

While Ogie and Regine were singing, a montage of their personal photos were flashed on the giant screen.

Ogie's former wife Michelle Van Eimeren looks on as her ex-husband sings with his present love.

The night turned emotional when Ogie dedicated a song to his daughters with Michelle—Leila and Sarah. Michelle and her children with Ogie had arrived the night before the concert with Michelle's reported boyfriend Mark.

Ogie and Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano performed two of Ogie's compositions, "Ikaw Lang" and "Kailangan Kita."

There was no network war, at least during the concert of Ogie who's with the Kapuso network. Some of his guests, including Gary, are Kapamilya celebs.

Ogie is considered the most successful singer-songwriter of his generation, having composed numerous hit songs for himself and for other singers as well.

Ogie ended his concert with two of his early hits, "Nandito Ako" and "Sa Kanya."

Ogie was overwhelmed by the success of his concert.

Michelle came up on stage with daughter Leila at the end of the concert to give Ogie a flower, a kiss and a tight embrace.

When everybody thought that the show was over, Ogie returned to dish out dance tunes from the '80s with surprise guest Roderick Paulate.
