Kapamilya stars gathered at the lobby of EDSA Shangri-La Hotel in Mandaluyong City on September 28 for the unveiling of the Star Magic 2009 Catalogue.

Every year, Star Magic releases a catalogue of its talents
not only for their clients but also for curious viewers of ABS-CBN.
From beauty shots last year, the Kapamilya talent
agency tried to give its talents different unique looks in Star Magic's 2009
Catalogue. Check out the celebrities
who attended the unveiling of this newly-released catalogue of Kapamilya stars.

Claudine Barretto is called the "ultimate
star" in Star Magic's 2009 Catalogue.
Mr. Johnny Manahan, head of Star Magic, saw the star potential in
Claudine when she auditioned for the defunct television program called Ang
TV in 1992.

Piolo Pascual first tried joining show business
in 1996, according to Star Magic's 2009 Catalogue. His slow but sure start really paid off since Piolo has become a
multi-awarded actor in the local entertainment scene.
Piolo is currently busy with his next commercial
film with Angel Locisn, tentatively titled Land Down Under and his
first-produced independent film Manila.

John Lloyd Cruz is called as the "actor's actor" in Star
Magic's 2009 Catalogue. This
24-year-old actor has already proven himself worthy to be called as the Prince
of Drama by portraying different roles—from teenage dad in Tabing Ilog
to a heartbreaker in One More Chance and A Very Special Love to
a schizophrenic father in Maalaala Mo Kaya.
Also, his successful onscreen partnership with Bea
Alonzo continues in the comedy series
I Love Betty La Fea.

Bea Alonzo wowed the audience when she played the role of a
21-year-old law student Katrina Argos
in the hit teledrama Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay when she was still 15 years
old.
But what's more noteworthy about her career is Bea's
unbeatable team up with young actor John Lloyd Cruz, which created box-office
films and successful television dramas.

show business. Sam Milby was called a
heartthrob when he appeared as one of the housemates in Pinoy Big
Brother. While inside the
controversial house, Sam showed off his skill in singing and songwriting.
Now, he is set to have his first major solo concert,

Rockoustic Heartthrob, on October 25 at the Aliw Theater, CCP Complex in
Pasay City.

because of his jampacked schedule.
Right now, Zanjoe is pre-occupied with his three
shows: the weekly fantaserye
Varga, the Sunday variety show
ASAP, and
the daily primetime drama
Dyosa.

It took two attempts before Diether Ocampo made it to Star
Circle. His notable acting performances
include television dramas like Mula sa Puso, Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin; and
movies like Nasaan Ka Man, Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin, and La Vida
Rosa.
With his success in show business, Diether finds a way
to give back his blessings through K.I.D.S. Foudation, which helps
less-fortunate children.

Shaina Magdayao is Star Magic's "sweetheart" in its 2009
Catalogue. As the younger sister of
Vina Morales, Shaina was able to find her own identity in show business when she
agreed to play the role of Gabby, a young woman pining for the love of Piolo
Pascual, in the recently concluded primetime show Lobo.
For her future projects, Shaina is set to do a movie
with Star Cinema along with other young actress Maja Salvador and Jake Cuenca.

Bench model, Jon Avila, became more popular when he entered the Pinoy

Not long after he came out of the controversial house,
Jon was able to get the title role of a superhero in

At a young age, Angelica Panganiban has already proven to
moviegoers her dramatic skill in acting in the Filipino adaptation of
children's classic Princess Sarah.
From child roles in
Princess Sarah and
Separada
(with Maricel Soriano and Edu Manzano), Angelica introduced herself as a grown
up actress in
A Love Story by playing Aga Muhlach's wife.

It was only days before the said event when PEP reported that the
singer-actress is two months pregnant with her first baby with boyfriend Cedric
Lee.

Baron Geisler says he's been with Star Magic
since he was 12 year old. Now at 26,
Baron tells PEP that he has no plans of leaving the talent agency that has
nurtured him as an actor and stayed with him even during the rough times of his
career.
