Eva Fonda was originally topbilled by Alma Moreno in 1976.  For its TV adaptation, director Frasco Mortiz said they've changed a few things were changed from the original version to suit the current generation of viewers. "Ibang-iba na po ang istorya nito sa pelikula ni Ms. Alma Moreno noong '70s," says Direk Frasco.

Cristine Reyes is grateful to be given a break by her new home studio ABS-CBN.  Eva Fonda is her first lead role since she graduated from the first batch of GMA-7's talent search show StarStruck and transferred to the Kapamilya Network.

Baron Geisler describes his character in Eva Fonda as someone "na may pagka-psychotic."  He will take advantage of Eva's innocence while she works for their family as a maid.

Pinoy Fear Factor participante Janna Dominguez gets her chance to be in a teleserye through Eva Fonda. As a supporting actress, Janna describes her character, "Ako po dito si Paris, kasambahay po ako nina Baron.  Isa po ako sa magpapahirap kay Eva Fonda."

Eva Fonda will work as a maid for a rich family composed of (from left) Mark Gil, Jean Saburit, and  Baron Geisler.  

Director-actor Al Tantay (center) plays the father of Joel (Jason Abalos, right).  His other son is child actor Owen Banaag who has been part of previous soap operas such as Ysabella and Kapitan Boom.

Veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez (in photo) says she rarely gets a role that does not require her to be a kontrabida.  "Tatlong beses lang akong sumigaw dito," relates Sylvia who plays the mother of Cristine Reyes and Mika dela Cruz (left).

Rustom Padilla plays another gay character in this TV adaptation of 1976 movie Eva Fonda.

Beauty queen-actress Jean Saburit is the mother of Baron Geisler in Eva Fonda. In real life, the former Binibining Pilipinas Young International title holder is the mother of Nicole Anderson.  

Character actor Dick Israel is excited about playing a homosexual character in Eva Fonda.  In fact, he even described his character as "isang gay na sympathetic sa pamilya ni Eva Fonda.  First time ko to portray a role like this, it's very challenging and I love it."
