The eight novels of Bud Brothers written by Rose Tan are based on her real-life friends who set up a flower farm in Lipa, Batangas ten years ago. The college fraternity boys will be portrayed by (L-R) John Prats, Manuel Chua, Will Devaughn, Jake Cuenca, Rafael Rosell, Guji Lorenzana and Ahron Villena.

In the first episode titled "Stupid Cupid," Vince (Jake Cuenca) is forced to live under one roof with his college crush Georgina (Cristine Reyes) even though they do not get along well together.

After spending time together, romance begins to bloom for Georgina and Vince. Is love really sweeter the second time around? 

Initially, Georgina (Cristine Reyes) was in love with Pio (Ahron Villena). She uses Vince to make Pio jealous but falls in love with the character played by Jake Cuenca.

The first episode starring Jake Cuenca (in photo) and Cristine Reyes is directed by Jerry Sineneng. Precious Hearts Romances presents Bud Brothers airs on ABS-CBN right after Kambal sa Uma.  

The second episode is based on the book "Betsy Wow Golly Wow." In the TV version, the name of the lead female character is changed to Betchay (by Mariel Rodriguez). She is paired with leading man Rafael Rosell.

"This episode is naughty and sexy, hindi siya vulgar," says Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina about the episode that she will direct and which stars Mariel (in photo). In the show's trailer, Mariel is shown hugging a sexy looking Rafael as they sleep together.

Mariel Rodriguez's character tells Rafael Rosell's: "Ang laki! Ang laki ng katawan mo!" 

Ahron Villena and Maricar Reyes are Pio and Sandy, a lovely couple who experience blossoming young love through the greatest test of all: married life.

"Wife ko po dito si Maricar. So yung love story namin parang tapos na pero marami pa rin kaming haharapin na challenges dito," says Ahron Villena about his character named Pio. 

As Sandy, Maricar Reyes will oversee the romantic liaisons among her friends and the Bud Brothers.

Roxanne Guinoo has a new love-team partner in the person of Star Magic Batch 16 member Guji Lorenzana. 

In the episode titled "Pepper's Roses," Guji plays Ray, a singer for a band. Prior to appearing on this afternoon romance series, Guji was part of the stage play West Side Story.

Pinoy Fear Factor participantes Janna Dominguez and Manuel Chua form one of the love teams of Bud Brothers. Business unit head Laurenti Dyogi jokingly said that they thought of including the two because their characters have to eat a cockroach.

John Prats leverages his comedic skills as Carlo, the clown among the Bud Brothers. He appears in the episode titled "Funny Love." 

Denise Laurel plays a grieving widow named Coco. She is paired with funnyman John Prats who will help bring laughter back to her life.

Will Devaughn and Valerie Concepcion topbill the episode "Once in a Lifetime Love." 

Isabel (Valerie Concepcion) is the cousin of Monty's girlfriend. She tries to break them up but in the process, she falls in love with Monty (Will Devaughn).

Will Devaughn is cast as Monty, the babaero or womanizer among the Bud brothers. Will he become a one-woman man for the sake of Isabel (Valerie Concepcion)? 

The story of Pete and Tammy is portrayed by Wendy Valdez and Joem Bascon.

Pete (Joem Bascon) is a Mama's boy who leaves his decisions to fate.
