In line with the celebration of National Heroes Day, local apparel brand My Philippines Lifestyle Inc. launched a new line of clothes that promotes nationalism on a personal level among Filipinos. Several celebrities and exemplary individuals modeled the shirts in a fashion show to benefit the various charities that they represent.

Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Uma Khouny says, "Tutulong Ako sa Pilipinas." Sales of his own shirt design, "One Drop, One Love, That is What Gayuma Is All About," will benefit Kythe Inc.

Cavite Rep. Gilbert Remulla's shirt says "Aalagaan Ko Ang Bayan Ko." He represents the charitable institution Gawad Kalinga, which builds homes for the poor.

The UP Film and Audio Visual Communication Graduate also made one of the Pinoy films that competed in the last Cannes Film Festival.
