GMA-7's Christmas station ID includes six vignettes that show heart-touching moments, which were evident after the typhoons that hit the country.
In this particular scene, director Paul Ticzon said that the kid wearing a green shirt was really a victim of typhoon Ondoy. Her family's house was submerged in floodwater brought about by heavy rains.

"We wanted na to bring back the old values—'yong
mga stuff na hindi mo na kailangang gumastos, 'yong mga katulad ng pagmamahal
sa pamilya at mga kaibigan," said Sarah Manila, one of the writers of the GMA-7's creative team for this Christmas station ID, about the objective of "pasalove."

Unlike their past Christmas station IDs, the network did not use its celebrities to spread the Christmas spirit. Instead, they used ordinary people, who were picked through an audition, to portray heartwarming scenes for the station ID.
"What we wanted to do was to usher the viewer to the true
meaning of Christmas—parang not just to please the eye but to touch the heart," explained Candy delos Reyes, writer/lyricist of GMA-7 Program Support's creative team.

This particular scene was shot in a rice field that was actually affected by floods when the water rose from Laguna de Bay.
Director Paul Ticzon related, "
'Yong farm [scene], totoong baha 'yon. We actually went to an area na talagang lubog
sa baha 'yong rice fields. 'Tapos inabot
din kami ni Santi during the shooting."

"We're trying to keep it real. Kumbaga, gusto namin na 'yong ilalabas namin,
kung ano ang nangyari sa kanila, totoo 'yon," said GMA-7 Program Support's creative artist Leo Alvarado about the latest station ID of GMA Network this Yuletide Season.
This was one of the reasons this scene showing a guard on duty was chosen to be part of the six vignettes used in the station ID.

Director Paul Ticzon said that GMA-7's Christmas station ID this year is not the typical "happy" plug. However, despite the drama scenes, he said, "If you watch it and pay attention to it, you
will feel good after."
