Last Sunday, January 10, the ten StarStruck survivors and their supporters trooped to Studio 5 of GMA-7 for the "Double Elimination" night.

StarStruck V contestants all look nervous before the names of the eliminated Survivors were announced. They could hardly wave to their cheering
fans in the audience.
An interesting mix of moreno, mestizo, and chinito guys composed the StarStruck V
hotties—(from left) Enzo Pineda, Rocco Nacino, Ian Batherson and Steven Silva.
Despite the twists and turns in the competition, the four guys have become
good friends.
The Starstruck sweethearts this season—(from left) Diva Montelaba, Nina Kodaka, Rox Montealegre, and Sarah Lahbati—have a deadly combination of these adjectives: tall-petite and slim-sexy.
But aside from pretty faces, one common thing among the four ladies: their willpower to win!
Princess Snell strikes a cheerful pose. The
mestiza from Laguna doesn't care about the naysayers who pull her down but is
very protective of her mom, "Pag nakikita ako ng nanay ko na inaapi ako,
naiiyak ako, pero pag nakikita ako na inaapi ko, care ko."
Morena beauty Diva Montelaba smiles for the camera. She is
the one to beat when it comes to performing—she already won Best Performer for
both "Kiss Flicks" episode and the dancing challenge with tough choreographer
Douglas Nierras.
Nina Kodaka has this demure charm that endears her to the
viewers. The half-Japanese crowd favorite wants to be a famous artista someday
but mentioned before that she shies away when it comes to sexy scenes.
Dubbed as "Ms Beauty and Brains," Rox Montealegre is a Dean's
Lister in Ateneo de Manila University.
Giving a sweet smile, Rox shows her "palaban" side during
the last elimination. She votes out Princess Snell because she has "no
consideration for others."
The feud between Princess and Rox has been going on for some
time.
The Baguio-born Rocco Naccino, who resembles Marky Cielo,
has been consistently on top with the challenges. He won the Best Music Video
Award, Best Male Performer for the Dancing Challenge, and Best Male Performer
for the "Kiss Flick."
StarStruck V's Fil-Am Steven Silva is the batch's
resident singing chef, who took up culinary studies in the United States. He is the oldest male contestant in the
batch.
The decision is a toss up between Diva Montelaba, who got good marks
in the singing challenge, and Princess Snell, who received praises for her hosting
skills.
StarStruck Survivors Enzo Pineda and Piero Vergara
sharing a hug after the latter's elimination.
Piero is one of the season's strongest contenders. Aside
from being a good singer, he also has the making of a good host. As for his
intermediate skill in dancing, he vows to work on improving it.
After StarStruck V, he considers going back to
school, but is also open to working with his favorite actress, Kapuso Star
Carla Abellana, in the future.
After braving five elimination nights, the remaining 8 StarStruck
V Survivors heaved a sigh of relief.
StarStruck Council member Iza Calzado is positive
that winner or not, they have the potential to make it big in the industry.
"They already have one foot in the door," she says.
