The Megastar opened the evening with "Jai Ho," the official soundtrack of the Academy Award-winning film, Slumdog Millionaire.

Hosting the birthday concert were stand-up comics Chokoleit and Pokwang, together with singer-host and Sharon's good friend, Randy Santiago.

It's not Lady Gaga, folks, but comedienne Pokwang, doing her own take on the flamboyant American pop singer.

Concert King Martin Nievera performed the romantic ballad "Of All the Things" with the birthday lady.

Seasoned kontravida actress Cherrie Gil (top left), Concert Queen Pops Fernandez (top right), comedienne Candy Pangilinan (bottom left) and Umagang Kay Ganda mainstay Rica Peralejo (bottom right) go Korean pop with their version of the worldwide hit, "Nobody."

Pinoy pride Arnel Pineda of the American band, Journey, dished out "After All" before joining Martin Nievera and Sharon in singing Air Supply's "Now and Forever."

Jed Madela, Rachelle Ann Go, and Rhap Salazar clearly showed what lung power is all about. The three belters performed "Thanks to You," "Hero," and "Wind Beneath My Wings."

PBA cager James Yap and TV host-actress Kris Aquino made the Megastar proud of the couple's duet, Rey Valera's "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo."

Sharon's birthday celebration would not be complete without drama superstar Judy Ann Santos. 

 

Juday and Sharon are very close, with the latter serving as matron of honor to the former's intimate early morning wedding to Ryan Agoncillo last year.

The mother-daughter tandems of Zsa Zsa Padilla and Karylle, Sharon and KC, took turns in singing "Sana'y Maghintay ang Walang Hanggan."

 

Erik Santos and Sam Milby helped Sharon in singing "You to Me Are Everything."

Ai-Ai delas Alas and Sharon relived the jukebox hits, "Isang Linggong Pag-ibig" and "Tukso."

 

Sharon and Ai-Ai were seen together last year in Star Cinema's comedy offering, Best Friends Forever.

Sharon Cuneta tried her best to keep up with Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano.

 

The two stars sang and danced "Hataw Na" and "Shout for Joy."

KC Concepcion teamed up with dancer-actor Vhong Navarro (seated) for an upbeat number.

 

KC's performance is always highly anticipated by loyal supporters of her mom, who all witnessed her grow from a shy toddler to a true celebrity.

The entire Big Dome erupted when Richard Gomez emerged on stage to sing "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight" with his ex-flame Sharon.

Chokoleit and Pokwang entertained the crowd with their stand-up antics leading to their rendition of the Aegis's hit, "Halik."

Robin Padilla offered a bouquet of flowers to the birthday celebrator.

 

Sharon and Robin were considered Viva Films' top artists during the '80s until the early '90s. They were also romantically linked for a time.

 

"Single ako!" Robin playfully told Sharon. He attended the concert with his son Ali.

 

 

Joined by husband, Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan, daughters KC Concepcion, Frankie and Miel, Sharon closed the show with "Nais Ko," which she dedicated to all her loyal fans.
