Just like in his Because of You concert in 2008 , Ne-Yo paid tribute to Michael Jackson by mentioning him at the beginning of the show and mimicking his signature dance moves. He opened this year's Ne-Yo: Live in Manila concert with his top hit single "Because of You."

Ne-Yo sizzled with his backup dancers dancing to the tune of "Sexy Love."

Ne-Yo performed tracks from his latest album, Year of the Gentleman. He personally received a Gold Record award from MCA Universal during his January 9 press conference in Makati City.

R&B singer Ne-Yo grooved to the tune of "Go On Girl."

The concert was filled with sexy moves such as this one.

Ne-Yo had a ball imitating the King of Pop's crotch-grabbing trademark move.

In his album, Ne-Yo constructed a suite of songs that shows exactly what he means by class.  Written over the course of travels through Europe last year and influenced by his own fascination with the Rat Pack, Ne-Yo explains, "For me, the sharpness of Sammy and [Frank] Sinatra is the kind of style I strive for in clothes and music. Year of the Gentleman is named in honor of those guys." 

Ne-Yo showed that he can not only wow audiences with his singing but also with his dancing skills. 

Ne-Yo recently penned a song for Walt Disney's upcoming animated film, Princess and the Frog. He also performed the movie's theme song titled "Never Knew I Needed." The movie will be shown on February 3, 2010 here in the Philippines.

Ne-Yo arrived in the Philippines with respected executive Island Def Jam who is a full blooded Filipina (not in photo).  

The back-up dancers caught the American R&B singer as he pretended to play dead during one of his spiels.

Rivermaya took to the stage to warm up the crowd before Ne-Yo's appearance.

He added to the concert vibe with the song "Elisi." 

Jason Fernandez of Rivermaya rendered the song "Kisapmata" for the waiting crowd.

Rivermaya front man Jason Fernandez also performed "Hinahanap-hanap Kita" that night.

Rivermaya's resident guitarist Mike Elgar was fortunate enough to share the same stage with the renowned singer-songwriter.

Eurasia, composed of (from left) half-British Kelly Gamboa, half-German Lana Roi and half Italian Sara Polverini were interviewed by Mo Twister during the concert. The pop girl group was the front act for Ne-Yo that night.
