Inah Estrada, eldest daughter of
actress-host Janice de Belen and actor John Estrada, celebrated her 18th
birthday last January 23 at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong
City.

"I wish that
makatapos ako ng college and I wish that all throughout I'll be happy," Inah, whose
full name is Czarina Isabella Estrada, told the members of the entertainment
press.
Inah's attire
for the evening was designed by famed designer Randy Ortiz. "I just told him to
make a simple dress but when I saw it, it was really, really nice," the
debutant revealed.
The entire event
was organized by John with the help of good friends Apet and Marilen Nunez of
L.E.N. Plus Inc.
"The ideas all
came from my Dad and Ate Pri [Priscilla Meirelles, John's Brazilian model
girlfriend]... I just invited my friends," smiled Inah, who was very surprised
with John's enthusiasm throughout the planning and actual implementation.
Janice's son
with ex-boyfriend Aga Muhlach, Iggy Boy, was also present during the party.
Despite being half-siblings, Inah said during her speech, she and Iggy Boy
are very close. She also wished her half-brother all the best now that he is
about to be a father.
"All I can wish
for her is more happiness. I hope sana she'll always be safe and I really hope
that she worships the family that she has, her siblings and also her friends
because that's all that matters," Brazilian model and John's girlfriend
Priscilla Meirelles told the debutante.
Ogie Alcasid
jokingly said that among John's friends, "Ako lang ang maliit," he laughed. The
talented singer-songwriter and comedian poignantly mentioned that seeing Inah
reminds him of his own daughters who are based in Australia.
It was John who
personally invited his Dahil May Isang
Ikaw co-star Gabby Concepcion to the event. Incidentally, Gabby used to be
the boyfriend of John's ex-wife Janice de Belen.
Gabby gamely took the stage to sing and entertain the debutante's guests.
Although John
was his usual comic self during the party, the father in him could not help
but show up especially when talking about his relationship with Inah.
"Sweetheart, we've
been through so much also but I always tell you that I may not be the best father
but I'm trying to be. And I don't really care what other people tell me or say
about me. All I really care about is your love for me. Di ba, even before I
will tell you and your siblings [that] you don't have to love me but you have
to respect me coz I'm your only dad."
"Sadly, she has
work," Inah replied when asked if her mom, actress-host Janice de Belen, will
drop by to celebrate with her. "But she told me she will look at the pictures
na lang and the video... Of course, I'm sad that my mom can't be here but I
understand naman."
Inah with her equally
beautiful sisters Moira (left) and Kyla (right). In an earlier interview, Moira
and Kyla both said that their ate is sometimes moody but that doesn't change
the fact that she's a good sister to all her siblings.
"It's nice to
see you," Gabby told Inah. "Matagal akong nawala so nakikita ko lang kayo sa
litrato. I would like to say 'hi' to the family."
John
interrupted Gabby, saying, "Pare, anak siya ni Janice." Without missing a beat,
John playfully continued, "Naging girlfriend mo din ‘yon, di ba?" That elicited laughter from all the guests present.
Richard Gomez has lots of fond
memories of Inah: "Nakita ko siya simula pagka-baby, ngayon dalagang-dalaga na.
I will always remember her as a young child. But then again hindi naman natin
mahihinto ang paglaki nung bata so we can only wish her the best. Sana mag-iingat
siya because she's already 18 and she'll be making her own decisions."
Wowowee
host
Willie Revillame took time out to grace the special occasion. Willie and
John, along with singer-host Randy Santiago, used to host the defunct ABS-CBN
noontime show, Magandang
Tanghali Bayan.
