The Sala Room of Centerstage Family KTV & Resto Bar in Jupiter Place, Makati City, witnessed the friendship and fun among the contributors and staff members who made it to the annual get-together of PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), held last Thursday, January 28.

-
For one night, they set aside deadlines and other pending tasks to attend the annual get-together of PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
More than 20 contributors and photographers made it. Thank you!

Centerstage Jupiter provided its guests mouth-watering dishes that would certainly fill up crowds of more than 50 people!
What's better was the fact that the buffet table was just a few steps away from the fun spots—the billiards corner, the dart board nook, and the videoke area!

PEP blogger Jojo Gabinete (right) won the Early Bird award, and took home a prize from Margarita King. "May meeting kasi ako sa Makati, kaya maaga," he said.
The guy beside him is Ruel Mendoza, who also works in Showbiz Central. Just a bit of trivia, Ruel is technically the first contributor of PEP.

The ENPRESS (Entertainement Press Society) officers (from right) Ricky Calderon, Lito Mañago, Archie de Calma and Rose Garcia made it even if a screening was scheduled that night.
Joining the group was photographer Enie Reyes (leftmost).

William Reyes (left) was the first winner of Panasonic Lumix.
When this photo was taken, PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) officers (from right) Rommel Placente, Mell Navarro, and Rommel Gonzales had not yet won any prize. Still, they gave their most cheerful smile.

First Game: Pinoy Henyo
(Bottom) Ruel Mendoza and Ricky Calderon made the first pair; they weren't able to guess the magic words, "Manny Pacquiao."
(Top) Maricris Nicasio and Roldan Castro tried to guess the second word.
"Bansa ba ito?" Roldan asked.
Maricris answered, "Oo."
But before they could say the right answer, the timekeeper yelled, "time's up!"

Winners of the game were Lito Mañago and Rommel Gonzales. They were very close to naming the magic words: "PEP Alerts," but time ran out.
"Ang hirap naman no'n," quipped Lito after the game.
The two got NaRaYa bags

Second Game: The Boat is Sinking, an idea of Ruel Mendoza.
The contestants, who were now joined by the staff members of PEP, had to group themselves according to the number chosen by the game master.
It was soooo fun! "Walang kai-kaibigan dito, ha."
After the dust settled from this physical game—Maricris Nicasio, Roldan Castro and Rommel Placente emerged as winners.

Third game: Pinaka, which is an assumption-based game.
The team of (from left) Ruel Mendoza, Rose Garcia—joined by
PEP managing editor Karen Pagsolingan and community editor Yas Salanga—were declared winners of the gift certificates from Ferretti shoes!

Maricris Nicasio also joined the videoke singing contest, and rendered Cranberries' "Zombie."
But it wasn't her song that won her this Panasonic Lumix camera.

Eric Borromeo was the Videoke King and went home with five thousand pesos in cash.
He sang Rico J. Puno's "Bawal na Pag-ibig."

After the games were over, Ruel and Rommel sang their hearts out with The Prayer—the Italian version!

PEP blogger John "Sweet" Lapus arrived at around 10:00 p.m.
His first order, of course, was his favorite drink: Tequila.

Before his sing-and-dance set, the Showbiz Central host agreed to pose "na parang sa pictorial."
He exclaimed, "Pose, project, game!"
