No doubt, the most star-studded event of the year, so far—YES! Magazine's 10th anniversary—succeeded in bringing together talents from both ABS-CBN, GMA-7, and TV5, as well as the most respected people in the industry. It's the party to beat!

-
The YES! party became a venue for reunions and reconciliation.
The most anticipated moment was the arrival of the famous Gutierrez siblings (from left) Raymond, Ruffa, and Richard, obviously because just 10 months back, Richard sued PEP editors Jo-Ann Maglipon and Karen Pagsolingan and staffwriter Ferdinand Godinez for P25 million on the issue of libel.
The two camps settled amicably 14 days before the event.(CLICK HERE to read related article)

Their most recent project was the Philippine entry to the Oscars, Ded Na Si Lolo. Unfortunately, the film was not shortlisted for the Best Foreign Film category.

A lot of single ladies in the house, like Pops Fernandez, were spotted at the party. Pops has become a good friend of the YES! editors through many years of coverage.

The very fit Iza Calzado chose not to bring her non-showbiz boyfriend. She said there would be too many reporters. The YES! editors said they understood perfectly.

Ai-Ai hugged Mother Lily Monteverde, who was responsible for giving the Comedy Queen a break when the latter was just starting out in showbiz. Remember her bit roles in Shake, Rattle & Roll III and Shake, Rattle & Roll 4? Wonder if Mother knew that the Ai-Ai she was giving a break to would become box-office queen a couple of times in the last decade!

Before 12 midnight, a gorgeous Angel Locsin in a short black dress arrived, then left 20 minutes later. She told YES!, "Hindi talaga ako lumalabas. Nagpakita lang talaga ako para sa inyo."
YES! was able to document the lovelife of the Kapamilya actress who is presently single.

-
The last to arrive was John Lloyd Cruz, who looked dashing even past 1:00 a.m.
An onlooker exclaimed, "Baka ayaw niyang magpang-abot sila ni..." But in fairness to John Lloyd, the guy did a short, quick escape from his own post-premiere party to drop by the YES! party. He had promised his friend Anna Pingol he would, and he did.
Anna, whose birthday was the 24th, said it was her best birthday gift. She also said, "Ngayon napatunayan ko na, na kapag nangako si John Lloyd, tinutupad niya. He keeps his word."
Beside her, the handsome and charming box-office king stood smiling. When he relaxed some more, he was a very interesting conversationalist, but we all assume that what he had to say, even if they were not controversial, were off the record. So we can't say—until he says we can.
