Designer Arielle Agasang describes his dream designs for Angel Locsin as "classic yet stylized clothes, from casual to formal. It suits her personality. She's very promising, young, and easy to dress up. Specifically, a see-through stylized evening gown, studded with pink and yellow diamonds as accent. It would be a nightmare for me if I saw her in an avant garde or club wear getup."
Why these clothes for Ariel and Gelli? Designer Randy Ortiz replies, "Gelli likes wearing mannish types of clothes. But she also likes the ultra feminine--soft dresses and gowns that best suit her figure.
Ariel is so particular with his suits. He likes wearing fancy shirts with embroidery, pleats and tucks for his shows."
Randy continues, "Gelli doesn't look good in long skirts, but she's fabulous with mini-skirts and pants. Ariel's suits should be well-fitted, particularly his pants."
Designer Patrice Ramos-Diaz on Angel Aquino: "I usually dress up Angel for events that require semi-formal to formal attire. I know that other designers dress her up too, but I'm always inspired whenever she asks me to provide an outfit for her. Here, I wanted a look that wasn't trendy--sophisticated, chic, timeless, and elegant. These are the type of clothes I can imagine her wearing to her special events."
Patrice elaborates, "The nice thing about dressing up Angel is that, aside from her exceptional beauty and figure, she also has a beautiful personality. And she looks best in gowns. It's like dressing up a live Barbie Doll!"
When asked about Patrice's dream designs for Angel, she answers: "I'd like to create a new look for her. A mix of edgy, feminine, and romantic, with modern details and treatment."
She further adds, "Angel can get away with anything, except shoulder pads."
Why choose these clothes for Snooky Serna and Ricardo Cepeda? Nono Palmos replies, "Bagay sila sa collection ko--elegant and couture. Snooky's beauty is great for couture. Even when you make her wear something that's high fashion, lumalabas pa rin ýong beauty niya, nakakaya niya, hindi siya nalulunod. She can wear anything. Any color looks good on her. Magaling siyang mag-project. Ricardo used to model, so... Individually and as a couple, they can carry my clothes well."
On what Nono wants for Snooky and Ricardo: "When I dress up Snooky, I think of Hollywood stars. I watch the movies of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly for inspiration. You can make Ricardo wear anything. He can go classic or rugged. He looks good in a suit or in denims. I am confident when I dress them up."
On what he doesn't want for Snooky: "Now that Snooky has gained some weight, there are limitations. I have to cover up her arms and hide her stomach."
Randy Ortiz shares his dream designs for Ariel and Gelli: "For Gelli, I'd like to do a beautiful dress a la Robert Cavallini in all-white chiffon that would show off her figure and nice legs. For Ariel, a graphic-inspired suit ensemble using lots of prints and patterns."
Rhett Eala talks about dressing up Assunta: "Sam has a very elegant figure. I dress her up for some of her awards shows, her private events... Even her wedding, I was the one who dressed her up. I love seeing Assunta in gowns because of her height and her built. She can look very sexy and still tend to look very elegant at the same time; my clothes evoke that elegance."
