On June 30, Kapuso and Kapamilya stars gathered together to celebrate the inauguration of the country's 15th President, Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Aquino III.
Hundreds of Filipinos crowded Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City as early as 4 p.m. in spite of the foul weather with its occasional drizzle. They came for a glimpse of the momentous concert featuring celebrities—such as Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Arnel Pineda—who gamely sang and danced for them.
Pres. Aquino even had his own song number.
Present in the audience were Aquino's sisters—Pinky Aquino-Abellada, Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, Viel Aquino-Dee, and Kris Aquino-Yap—his girlfriend Shalani Soledad, and his nephews Joshua and Baby James, both sons of Kris Aquino.
The main part of the victory concert party started at 8p.m., and ended at 11:30p.m. with a ten-minute fireworks display.

Kris Aquino and son Baby James were wearing somber clothes that fit the drab weather. The two stayed until the end of the concert.
They were seated in an enclosed VIP area immediately in front of the stage.

Just like her would-be sister-in-law Kris Aquino, councilor Shalani Soledad also watched the whole concert. Her boyfriend, Pres. Noynoy Aquino, arrived only towards the end of the concert.

Shalani was seated behind Kris Aquino, and so they chatted every so often during the whole concert.

Pinoys from all over Manila came to take part in the night's merriment. Even though heavy rain poured halfway through the concert, the audience stood their ground and stayed through the end.
The security at the event was tight. A metal barricade barred the audience from getting near the stage.
