Kelly Misa is all smiles for the camera as she shows her engagement ring, a diamond solitaire with a Tiffany setting made for her by a close friend. Kelly got engaged February of last year, even before she joined Wowowee as a co-host.

Incidentally, ABS-CBN's noontime show will air its last episode on July 30.

Kelly says she and her fiance Carlos Fernandez want a beach wedding, since both of them are certified beach lovers. "At home kami sa ganun. Yung hindi masyadong formal," she told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal). 

Kelly removes her other rings as soon as the press urges her to show off her engagement ring for a photo op.

Her dream beach wedding calls for a corresponding dream wedding dress. Kelly's friends whip up a sketch of Kelly's dress for the On-the-Spot game prepared by close friend, model Nicole Hernandez. The game entails whipping up a wedding dress for Kelly made of Manila paper and other art materials.

Her bridal shower is everything a girl could ever want: free spa treatment and nail care for her guests, plus cupcakes and other freebies.

Former Wowowee co-host Carmen Soo drops by Kelly's private bridal shower. The event is attended by Kelly's family, close friends and select members of the press.

Kelly's close friend and fellow Wowowee co-host Valerie Concepcion shows her support for Kelly despite arriving a bit late. Valerie will be part of the new noontime show Pilipinas, Win na Win that will air its pilot episode this Saturday, July 31. It will be hosted by Kris Aquino and Robin Padilla together with Mariel Rodriguez, Valerie and Pokwang.

Wowowee co-host Mariel Rodriguez was originally set to host Kelly's bridal shower, but she called in sick and was advised to rest. Kelly's close friend Ceska Litton (in photo) happily agreed to host the event instead.

Kelly tears up as she thanks her friends and family for their continued and undying support.

Kelly's close friends participate in one of the games called On The Spot, where they were tasked to make Kelly's beach wedding dress made of art materials. Her friends were grouped into three, with each hastily cutting up paper and styling it to form a suitable dress.

Ornusa Cadness (leftmost), Borgy Manotoc's ex-girlfriend and Kelly's close friend, explains her group's interpretation of Kelly's wedding gown. They designed a mermaid-type dress fit for a beach wedding.

"I always knew this group had an unfair advantage!" quipped host Ceska Litton (not in photo). She was referring to Ornusa's group, composed of stylists and models including Kelly's friend, supermodel Isabel Roces. This group eventually wins the challenge.

Metro Weddings creative director Trisha Chua gave a toast in honor of Kelly Misa.

Carlos proposed to Kelly on a hill near their favorite beach in Batangas--the couple's regular getaway of choice during long weekends.
