StarStruck V Second Prince Rocco Nacino and his family conducted an outreach program for selected schoolchildren last August 15 at the Opal Room of Jade Palace on Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City. The event coincided with the celebration of the 51st birthday of Rocco's mother, Mrs. Linda Nacino, and the get-together party of the young star's fans club, the Roccofellas.

Rocco had a very busy week prior to the outreach program, but his mom picked the said date to make sure that Rocco would be able to attend.
"As much as possible, if time permits and may enough manpower kami para magawa po 'yan, kahit ilang beses po, gagawin namin," says Rocco.

Mrs. Linda Nacino, whose actual birthday was on August 14, is a breast-cancer survivor. She was declared cancer-free by her doctors 11 years ago.
Here is Rocco's birthday message to his mom: "Mommy,
Stay healthy and always take care of yourself."

Mrs. Nacino (far right) thanks all the people responsible for the success of their outreach program. With her are (from left) Mr. Ralph Nacino (Rocco's dad), Lola Nieves (Rocco's grandmother), Kyle (Rocco's younger brother), and Rocco.
The entire family is also very supportive of Rocco's career. As Mommy Linda says, "Kung ano man ang gusto niya, we will support him. Sumunod naman siya sa amin na magtapos muna [ng pag-aaral]. Kung yun ang happiness niya, we'll support him."

It won't be a suprise if Rocco's only brother Kyle (right)—with his good looks and self-confidence—decides to enter showbiz in the future. But Mrs. Nacino says he has to finish his studies first, like his Kuya, before he'll be allowed to follow his brother's footsteps.

Rocco, now fully made up, makes "her" introduction as "Miss Bahamas." But he and his dad eventually lost out to Kyle, who represented "Miss Malaysia," after he got the loudest cheers and applause from the audience.
This is not the first time that Rocco joined a "beauty pageant." He finished first runner-up in "Bebot 2010" of Eat Bulaga!

The Nacino family chose 35 scholars from Smart Achievers Christian School of Pasig to be the recepients of their outreach program. They have been doing this for five years now with the help of their church group Pax Christi.

The children from Smart Achievers Christian School of Pasig performed a song number for the Nacino family and their sponsors to express their gratitude for all the gifts (school supplies and goodies) they received. This is the second time that the Nacino family conducted an outreach program this year; the first one was in March which coincided with Rocco's birthday and his winning as Second Prince in StarStruck V.
