Because of her busy schedule, Angel has yet to stay in her new home for one whole day. She told her manager: "Tita, baka naman puwedeng dito na lang ako sa bahay ko, isang buong araw lang talaga, 'yong ie-enjoy ko lang?"
Angel's bedroom is an extension of her living room, exuding the same sophisticated and subtle character. The walls, ceiling, and floor serve as a quiet backdrop to the beige curtains, the white lamp, and the huge bed of white linen, which seems to expand dramatically from an inner corner, to cross the room in a manner diagonal to all the walls. Mature as the room may look like, it has, within arm's reach, a mountain of stuffed toys, including one of the Nickelodeon cartoon character SpongeBob
As with any movie and television star, Angel has to mind her clothes and all the accessories that go into every public appearance. Angel squeezes as much of a closet as she can out of her modest space. The full-length mirrors do their part in expanding the room visually.
The dinner guest (above, right) is Becky Aguila's daughter Bianca, Angel's close friend and one of the first people invited to see the new home when it was done. Angel says she hasn't had a chance to do much cooking since moving in, but she does enjoy puttering around in the kitchen, experimenting with unlikely combinations. "'Yong hotcake lalagyan ko ng M&M's. Masarap! 'Tapos, Century Tuna na ide-drain, lalagyan mo ng keso, maraming maraming maraming keso!"
Angel's room is surprisingly sophisticated and mature in taste, characterized by clean lines, spartan details, subtle textures, and subdued colors. It's like a steaming cup of hot coffee, with its caffeine and cocoa hues. Her ceiling is milk, her walls are mocha, her tilted floor is cream, and her carpet is brown sugar. The latte-colored sofa and side table are complemented by sugar-hued pillows and milk-white candles and vases.
