Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown launch party
On Monday night, August 30, past and present castaways of Survivor Philippines gathered at the Eivissa Super Club in Quezon City to witness the pilot episode of Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Showdown.
The castaways cheered as they watched the reality show that they shot in a remote island off the Andaman Sea in Thailand. Everyone partied the night away after the premiere.
Meet the celebrity castaways: (from left) Ervic Vijandre, Solenn Heusaff, Elma Muros, Doc Ferdz Recio, Karen delos Reyes, Aira Bermudez, Aubrey Miles, Michelle Madrigal, Mico Aytona, Princess Snell, Ahron Villena, Moi Bien, Jon Hall, and Buhawi Meneses. Ian Batherson is not in the picture.
Absent during the launch party were Akihiro Sato and Pretty Trizsa.

The castaways would occassionally cheer when they saw their faces during the episode. Karen delos Reyes had the wittiest lines in the entire episode. While watching, the actress dubbed as the "Taray Queen" was the most sociable—she went around the room to talk to most of the guests.
Many of the previous castaways from the past two seasons graced the event, including Tara Macias (in photo), Chev Macias, Suzuki Sadatsugu, Echo Caceres, Justine Ferrer, Kiko Rustia, Niña Ortiz, Patani Daño, Zita Ortiga, and Season 2 winner Amanda Coolley Van Cooll.
