The Cosmo Celebrity Centerfolds met with the press recently at the Salt and Pepper restaurant located along EDSA. Among those who came to the August 31 press conference were (from left, clockwise) Joross Gamboa, Matteo Guidicelli,  Christian Bautista, Sam Milby, and Fabio Ide. Cover girl Andi Eigenmann (seated, left) also graced the occasion along with Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Zo Aguila. Rocco Nacino (not in photo) also attended but he did not finish the presscon since he had to go to a taping of Fulltime Moms.

"I actually feel overwhelmed to be with all these beautiful men!" exclaimed Andi Eigenmann during the presscon. "It's such an honor to be this month's cover, especially since it's the month of the Cosmo Bachelor Bash. It's actually weird, I don't understand what I'm doing here."

When asked to choose her favorite centerfold among the ten hunks, she pointed out: "Among all of them, I don't know, they're all beautiful in their own ways. Maybe Matteo!"

Matteo Guidicelli (left) gave a big smile when his Agua Bendita co-star picked him.

Andi Eigenmann's show Agua Bendita aired its last episode on September 3, 2010. Meanwhile, Sam Milby's upcoming musical dramedy titled iDOL will start airing on September 6, 2010.

Sam Milby tells PEP that he would rather not invite Marie Digby to see him during the Cosmo Bachelor Bash, if he gets the chance to walk down the ramp.

"Hindi kasi unang-una, nahihiya ako at mako-conscious. Pangalawa, ang layo niya para lang pumunta siya dito. Fourteen to sixteen hours ang flight."

Sam Milby says that he enjoys working with his iDOL leading lady Sarah Geronimo. "May duets kami ni Sarah and maraming bagong singers. OPM yung mga songs namin. I really admire her, how dedicated she is to her craft, how she supports her family. I admire how pure-hearted she is."

Andi Eigenmann wore clothes from The Ramp Crossings, a fashion line that she endorses. She told PEP that she is no longer involved with the Italian-Chinese guy that she used to date.

Brazilian-Japanese model Fabio Ide is part of GMA-7's show Comedy Bar along with Eugene Domingo and Allan K. It airs every Saturday night.

Christian Bautista says that he decided to have a more daring image to offer something new to his fans.

"After a while, kailangang i-innovate mo ang sarili mo, i-reinvent mo ang sarili mo para mas maging exciting again ang career mo," sagot ng singer. "Ever year, there's a new artist that is coming. So, kaming medyo naka-five years na, it's still a blessing na nandito pa rin. But we have to give back to our audience something new."

 

Joross Gamboa narrated how he achieved his muscular physique for this pictorial: "Almost five months na straight diet lang. Manok lang, inihaw na manok or steam na manok, at saka kamote. Walang asin, walang sweets. Yun lang, araw-araw."

When the press asked Zo to name celebrities whom she would like to tap as celebrity centerfolds, she answered, "We're waiting for Coco Martin, JC de Vera and Paulo Avelino to be ready. These are people we are hoping na tutuparin nila ang pangako nila sa amin." 

Rocco Nacino feels very lucky to be chosen as a Cosmo centerfold even though he is just starting out in showbiz. The Second Prince of StarStruck V will soon be seen as the leading man of Lovi Poe in GMA-7's upcoming Lovebug installment. 

In line with this year's theme of Men Gone Wild, the celebrity centerfolds and the 69 Cosmo Bachelors had their photo shoots held at the Avilon Montalban Zoological Park, the Ark Avilon Zoo at Frontera Verde and the Zoobic Safari in Subic.

Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Zo Aguila says of their cover girl Andi Eigenmann, "At Cosmo, we're always excited to see new faces and hail new talent. And when they come in a pretty package like Andi's, we get even more revved up. Andi is a breath of fresh air; her beauty brings an unexpected candidness. We love how she's super stunning but also refreshingly real--all in spite of being showbiz royalty."

"Actually, I did the 69 Bachelors bago ako pumasok sa PBB [Pinoy Big Brother] house. This is my first time being a Centerfold talaga," says Sam Milby about landing on the cover of the Cosmo Men supplement.

Carl Guevara won the Be Bench model search, which was aired in 2007 on ABS-CBN. After staying for two years in the Kapamilya Network where he appeared in Astigs, Dyosa and Kambal sa Uma, the actor transferred to GMA-7. He is currently part of the weekly sitcom JejeMom.

Christian Bautista narrated how he prepared for his new image: "Tamang pagkain, tamang workout. Dapat every week, meron akong workout na at least two or three times a week with my trainer sa Gold's Gym. Mga less than a year din ang naging preparation ko."

With his trademark accent, Brazilian-Japanese model Fabio Ide narrated the difficulties of doing his photo shoot, "It was konti mahirap because I was holding a very heavy eagle and every time, we were ready to take a picture, the eagle would fly! So they bring the bird back, I would position again, but in the end, okay naman, we were able to do it."

Joross Gamboa says that he enjoyed going to gym to build up his body. "Na-adik lang talaga ako sa gym. Minsan nga, twice a day pa. Yung steroid, alam ko, effective yun. Pero kapag gumamit ka no'n, sobrang laki. E, ayoko naman ng sobrang laki. Magmumukhang pandak ka kapag sobrang laki. So, sa akin, yung may muscle, pero payat pa rin. Katulad nga ngayon, payat pa rin ako,"

Marco Mañalac bared his naked body for the theatrical play Equus but this time, he bared his body for a photo shoot at the Ark Avilon Zoo at Frontera Verde.

Matteo Guidicelli was photographed with a horse for his Cosmo shoot. "It was fun because I used to ride horses when I was a kid. The photographer was scared to let me ride a horse so I didn't get to ride one."

Rocco Nacino revealed how he ended up posing with sexy boxer shorts for his pictorial. "Supposedly naka-jeans ako diyan, pero meron kaming mga boxers na sinubukan. So sabi ko, subukan natin baka okay tingnan. Tapos nung nakita ko yung previews, maganda so tinuloy namin yung shoot."

Tom Rodriguez bared his upper body for the movie Here Comes the Bride. This time, he posed topless for Cosmo's wild September issue.

Model Bryann Foronda was seen on GMA-7's now defunct dating show titled Take Me Out.
