Star Magic celebrated its 18th anniversary by gathering all its talents at the 4th Star Magic Ball at the Rizal Ballroom of Shangri-La Makati last night, September 5.

Director and talent discoverer Johnny Manahan, a.k.a. Mr. M, created the ABS-CBN's talent arm Star Magic in April 1992 with then ABS-CBN executive vice president and general manager Mark Joey Zulueta (not in photo).
Its primary purpose was to create a stable of new celebrities exclusively for the Kapamilya network. Now, it has more than 300 talents in different fields—acting, singing, dancing, and hosting.
