Even a film goddess such as Mayor Vi, given the chance to be in a historic place such as the Vatican City, becomes an ordinary mortal who wants a souvenir photo to remember a happy occasion by. Here, she poses in front of St. Peter's Basilica where the Pope celebrates his special Holy Masses and where he mostly holds his public appearances.

That's no Italian guy by the mayor's side. The handsome fellow, is of course, her marito (husband), Senator Ralph. And the equally good-looking bambino is il figlio (son) Ryan Christian. Unfortunately, elder son Luis Manzano was unable to join his mom on this trip.

Ryan Christian, who will turn 11 on March 29, practiced his dance moves by the Fontana del Moro (Fountain of the Moor), one of three magnificent fountains located at the Piazza Navona. The other fountains are Fontana del Nettuno (Fountain of Neptune) and the Fontana dei Quattro Fuimi (Fountain of teh Four Rivers), which is seen here as the base of the obelisk in the background.

The lady with the Rectos is Mayor Vi's Girl Friday cum accountant, Aida Fandialan (left). In the background is theRoman Colosseum, where slaves had to face off with gladiators or lions for the viewing pleasure of emperors and their subjects.

The tourists—(L-R) Ryan's Yaya Fely, Aida Fandialan, Ryan Christian, Mayor Vi, Senator Ralph, and Ate Emilyn—had this photo taken at the Forum Romanum, the economic and political center of ancient Rome, now reduced to ruins.
