The concert started with the lively performance of the Sison Brothers.

These three kids—Marek, Enzo, and Ruiz—are members of the 2008 Philippine Team, the country's representative at the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA).

The Company and Jose Mari Chan did their opening number with the songs, "Love at 30,000 Feet" and "Good Old fashioned Romance."

One of the popular songs of The Company is "Pakisabi na Lang," which was released in the 90's.

Jose Mari Chan sang duets with some members of The Company.

The first was with Sweet Plantado (in gray dress) with the song "Please Be Careful With My Heart." The next was with Cecile Bautista (in white dress) to the tune of "Here and Now."

It's now the band's turn to serenade the crowd with their romantic love song.

In one of his spiels he said, "To those who are with their sweethearts and wives, may your sweethearts become your wives, and may your wives be your sweethearts.... And your sweethearts and wives don't meet!"

The OPM band, The Company, is composed of five members: (L–R) Cecile Bautista, Moy Ortiz, Sweet Plantado, Jay Marquez, and Annie Quintos.

They started off in the music industry as backup singers way back in the 80's before they became the stars on different stages, here and abroad.

The long years they've been together has brought about a strong bond among the members of the group.

Jose Mari Chan (in white suit) shared stories behind some of his songs.

For example, the song "Refrain" was his composition for his girlfriend who was about to leave the country to work. Did the girl stay? Well, she's his wife now!

As the show was about to end, another popular OPM singer/songwriter came up the stage—Noel Cabangon!

He came to the concert as a representative of Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang–aawit (OPM), to give a Plaque of Recognition to Jose Mari Chan.

Our Filipino–Chinese singer & composer is indeed proud of the recognition given to him.

The surprise didn't end there. His wife, Mary Ann Ansaldo, had something in store for him.

As they ended the concert, they performed the song "Afraid for Love to Fade," with the hopes for the revival of the OPM industry.
