The very first Miss World Philippines beauty pageant was held on September 18, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), in Manila.
Twenty-five beautiful candidates from different parts of the country were screened and selected for the pageant.
Aside from winning the very first Miss World Philippines crown, scepter, and title, the winner also took home the P 1 million cash prize and was awarded a condominium unit from SMDC worth P 1.6 million.
She will represent the country at the Miss World Pageant in London in November.
Big amounts of cash and other fabulous prizes were also awarded to the runners up and winners of special awards.Here are some of the highlights of the pageant.
