Erik Santos is the guy in dark glasses.

In her PEP blog, Giselle says of Erik: "Marami na ako nakasama na superstars, diva at sikat na mga artista sa ibang bansa, pero mapa-babae o mapa-lalake, I think I rate Eric the best in terms of attitude and personality... a humble, talented, inquisitive, and smart gentleman with a great sense of humor."

"Iyan, sa Athens 'yan," says Giselle of this photo. "That's the view from our hotel—President Hotel in Kiffisias Avenue. O, di ba, parang GSIS lang?"—referring to GSIS Village, a subdivision in Quezon City.

"First time ko sa Greece," Giselle adds. "I've been wanting to go to Greece ever since, kasi 'yong mga Vienna, Barcelona, Amsterdam, lahat 'yon pinagsawaan ko na. Ohhh! Hahaha! 'Yon nga lang, ni hindi ko nasilayan ang Parthenon! Pero isa lang ang ibig sabihin noon, makakabalik ako! Babalik ako!"(YES! June 2010 issue)

"Kumain kami sa parang shawarma restaurant nila... Souvlaki yata ang tawag nila doon sa food," says Giselle. "Parang you didn't go to Greece kung hindi ka nag-souvlaki."

Giselle goes on: "'Yong Greek guy naman, natuwa siya kay Leo, kasi tinanong niya siya, ‘What's your name?'

"Sabi ba naman ni Leo, ‘Vanessa.' Hahaha! Name niya pag nag-ge-gay beauty pageant."

"Sa Santorini din ito, sa may Perissa Beach," says Giselle. "'Yong nasa likod namin is, I think, a municipal hall, kasi may flag ng Greece, e. Sa Perissa, ang beach nila doon black beach.

"'Yong sand nila, parang sa Batangas."

"This is at Dreams Hotel, which is overlooking Thira," Giselle narrates. "Ang Santorini kasi, maraming islands. May Perissa, Thira... Posing-posing lang kami diyan. Hindi kasi siya shopping destination. Parang Boracay na puro souvenirs lang, ganoon."

Thira, according to Wikipedia, is "the largest island in Santorini."

"Eto, sa Santorini na ito," Giselle says. "Diyan kami tumira doon, sa Villa Dimitri, which is in Perissa. Springtime noong nandoon kami, so nagre-repaint sila at naglilinis in preparation for summer. So, hindi sila nag-a-accept ng guests. Pinakiusapan lang namin. Kaya mura lang ang bayad namin diyan. As in, 15 euro lang per room. E, pag summer daw, 120 euro ang room."

At press time, one euro, according to the website moneyconverter.com, was equivalent to P59.52. Thus, 15 euros would be P892.82, and 120 euros, P7,142.52.

Giselle, in describing this photo, retells the story that she picked up from her trip: "Noong nag-erupt ang volcano sa Santorini, nag-break into islands. It was one big island before.

"'Tapos, 'yan 'yong parang breakaway island. Ang tawag diyan Caldera. Kumbaga, sa atin, malaking pothole ng isang volcano. In short, para siyang pinasosyal na Tagaytay."

"Sa Dos Manos Hotel ito in Thira. Dito nag-shooting sina KC Concepcion. Hindi kami tumira diyan. Nagpa-picture lang kami, hahaha!"

The movie that KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez shot here, in 2008, was For the First Time. The hotel is actually called Manos Small World.

Giselle adds: "Hinihintay naming mag-sunset, kasi best sunset daw in the world... pero for me, ang best sunset is Boracay pa rin."
