On February 17, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez welcomed friends from the entertainment press to their Quezon City home for an intimate dinner.
It was a modest celebration for the success of the couple's Valentine concert Mr. & Mrs. A at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The small party was an enjoyable evening forOgie and Regine and their guests, laughing over the stories shared on the table, while feasting on the sumptuous food prepared by the Songbird herself.

How refreshing to see Regine Velasquez without makeup,
in plain clothes, and doing kitchen chores.
She spent the entire day
preparing for this feast so when the guests finally arrived at around 8:00 p.m., she only had to do
some finishing touches to her buffet.

While Regine worked in the kitchen, Ogie was busy
setting up the dining area.
He had previously arranged the tables and chairs in the lanai for a nice outdoor dinner but the
weather turned uncooperative so he decided to have everyone gather around
the eight-seat dining table inside the house.

As the guests started nibbling on this appetizer of assorted cheeses,
seedless grapes, and French baguette, they began talking about their thoughts on the concert.
Everyone seemed to agree that the couple should do an encore show. They think that many people would still be interested to see it again because the concert got positive reviews. Ogie said it might no longer be possible as GMA-7 is set to air a TV special on March 11.

Fresh salmon salad with lemon dressing started out
the row of delicious and healthy food on the buffet.
Of late, Regine is on healthier dishes and drinks lots of fruit juices to help in her weight-loss. She also takes in a lot of soup to help her lactate as she breastfeeds her son Nate.

There's no doubt the Alcasids are one great party hosts, but it seems
they enjoyed the evening even more with all the fun stories shared at the
table.
They were also excited to update their guests about their upcoming projects, particularly Ogie's Boy Pick Up and Doo Bi Doo Bi Doo movies, both currently filming.

Ogie also gave the guests a quick tour of
their house’s main floor, where the kitchen, dining areas, receiving room, and a small trophy room are located. There's also an outdoor lanai with a mini pool.
He proudly showed the guests some his prized possessions—old vinyl copies of their song recordings from the late ‘80s
and early ‘90s.
