After three years, Annabelle decided to change her tune. 

"Actually nagpapasalamat ako, kung hindi dahil sa 'yo walang Raymond sa showbiz," the matriarch of the Gutierrez family said.

Ms. Wilma (as she is fondly called) is responsible for the "primetime queen" tag of Marian Rivera.

She picked the Filipina-Spanish actress to play the title role of Marimar in 2007, and the rest—as they say—is history.

Ms. Wilma is also behind the successful career of Dingdong Dantes, who has been the network's top leading man for a decade now. His biggest break was in 2002, when he played Carlos Miguel in Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga.

Some press wondered if Robin Padilla and Mother Lily discussed their aborted movie project that night.

Mr. Wong was supposedly the entry of Regal Films and RP Productions to the Metro Manila Film Festival last year.

Just like Ms. Wilma, Mike Enriquez also retired from his posts as senior vice president for radio of GMA and president of RGMA recently.

But he still works as a consultant.
