She likes "going to court almost every day."

In an interview late last year, she said, "I'm enjoying doing it."

She dislikes "sinungaling, walang utang na loob, mapag-imbento, kupitera."

The cause: Shortly after Ruffa separated from Yilmaz Bektas in May 2007, the Gutierrez family claimed "harassment" in the form of "incessant late night phone calls and text messages containing grave threats."

In one interview, the Turkish businessman even dubbed his ex-mother-in-law as "materialistic relative."

In response, Annabelle's camp considered him "persona non grata."

Who won? No one.

What now? At present, Annabelle sees love as a distraction for Ruffa, whose marriage was recently annulled.

"Bruhilda!"

The cause: In June 2001, Dolly Anne Carvajal wrote about the alleged link of Yilmaz Bektas's family to a big-time drug syndicate in Turkey and Ruffa Gutierrez's first wedding to a certain Richard Daloia in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1999.

Annabelle's angry response:"'Wag ka nang makisawsaw sa issue! Ba't ba si Ruffa ang tinitira mo? 'Pag kailangan mo naman ng pera, binibigyan kita kasi alam ko kailangan mo!"

Who won? No one.

What now? The entertainment columnist is, at the moment, a co-host of Paparazzi, along with Annabelle's daughter Ruffa.

"Gusto mo mag-upakan tayo ngayon din? Okay sa akin!"

The cause: In March 2006, Ruffa related an incident where Lani Mercado allegedly snubbed her.

It was Lani's manager Lolit Solis who reacted to what the former beauty queen said on The Buzz: "Ang ipinagtataka ko lang, ba't kailangang maging obligasyon ni Lani ang batiin ang kahit sino? Ang mga na-link sa asawa niya, e, siya ang legal wife?" 

Defending her daughter, Annabelle said, "Hindi ko maintindihan bakit sobra-sobra ang reaksiyon mo [Lolit] sa pagtira sa anak ko.

"Lolit, nakalimutan mo na ba kung saan ka galing? Dati katulong ka ni Mother Lily [Monteverde], hinaharbatan mo ako ng bag, ng pera, ibinibigay ko sa 'yo dahil mahal kita, nirespeto kita."

Who won? No one.

What now? In June 2008, the two women patched things up upon request of the late Rudy Fernandez.

"Ang pumatol sa akin, sira ulo! Biro mo, taas ng posisyon mo, papatol ka sa akin?"

The cause: JC De Vera's "crying" at the office of Wilma Galvante in February 2009 led to a court battle.

His manager pulled him out of Obra and wanted him to do a project with Judy Ann Santos in ABS-CBN.

According to Wilma's version, the young actor didn't like the idea of leaving GMA-7, so they had a talk.

Annabelle, however, claimed that Wilma "harassed" JC, coercing him to sign a contract with GMA-7.

Who won? The 25-million-peso slander case of Annabelle against Wilma was junked by DOJ in 2010, while the 7-million-peso civil suit of Wilma against Annabelle is still pending.

What now? Early this year, the two women settled their differences, but it's still unknown whether it included their court cases or not.

As for JC, he's now one of the busiest talents of TV5, where Wilma will soon be a consultant.

"Itutuloy ko ang demanda ko..."

The cause: An article, which was inadvertently uploaded on PEP in March 2009, alleged that Richard Gutierrez had an altercation at a restaurant with Michael Flores.

Despite the website's apology, Annabelle's son filed a 25-million-peso libel suit.

Who won? In July 2009, the case was dismissed by DOJ, but reversed its decision six months later.

What now? Annabelle and her family renewed their cordial relationship with PEP last February 9, 2010, in front of then DOJ Secretary Agnes Devanadera.

"John Lloyd, magpakalalake ka, okay! Kung in love ka sa anak ko, umamin ka in public!" 

The cause: Almost three years ago, Ruffa was romantically linked to John Lloyd Cruz.

Who won: Despite the numerous sightings—not to mention the "text" controversies that also involved John Lloyd's current girlfriend Shaina Magdayao—the guy never admitted the real score.

What now? He is no longer in Annabelle's scheme of things.

Annabelle Rama on Lorayne Pardo: "Pagsisisihan niya itong lahat-lahat ng ginawa niya kay Richard!"

The Cause: Annabelle's terms—432,000 pesos and educational plans—for the widow and kids of Nomar Pardo were turned down.

On July 23, 2009, the widow, Lorayne, filed Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide against Richard, who drove the sports car that killed Nomar.

Who won? The case is still pending.

What now? There are talks the Gutierrezes may be open to a settlement.

"I'm sorry, Angeli, kailangan ikaw ang magparetoke sa ilong mong nakadapa!" 

The cause: At the birthday party of Ogie Alcasid last August 27, 2010, Angeli Valenciano made a comment about "pagpaparetoke sa mukha."

The wife of Gary said Ruffa doesn't need it since she's already beautiful.

This unsolicited advice did not sit well with Annabelle, who said in her interview with Paparazzi, "Angeli, sana magpakabait ka." 

Who won: No one.

What now? Gary said there was already "closure."

"Yung mga walanghiyang talent, ingrata, walang utang na loob, malalaos din 'yan!"

The cause: In October 2010, Heart Evangelista chose not to renew her contract with Annabelle.

The latter retorted: "Pinakamalaking kontrata, nakuha ko sa GMA-7. Pinakamalaking trabaho na nakuha ko sa kanya, hindi pa sila ma-satisfy. Naloloka ang byuti ko!"

Who won? Heart Evangelista got what she wanted—a new manager (her mom Cecile Ongpauco) and numerous projects thereafter.

What now? From time to time, Annabelle still lambasts Heart.

"Huwag masyadong suwapang! Pabayaan mo akong dumiskarte sa career mo!"

The cause: In October 2010, Miriam Quiambao requested a meeting with Annabelle to discuss her career.

The "umagang-umaga" and "maghapon" text messages raised the ire of the talent manager, who then revealed the "pangungulit" of her ward to the now-defunct Tweetbiz.

Who won? No one.

What now?  They have long settled their misunderstanding.

"Babangon ako at dudurugin ko siya dahil sa pang-aapak na ginagawa niya sa akin!"

The cause: Both Annabelle and Nadia Montenegro said their rift stemmed from money issues.

The former claimed Nadia wants to handle the careers of her children.

The latter argued that her kids' welfare did not matter to Annabelle, whose priority—according to the former actress—is earning from her talents.

The word war continues despite the fact that their issues have been elevated to court.

Who won? The attempted kidnapping and theft complaints of Annabelle against Nadia were dismissed.

The grave oral defamation and grave coersion cases of Nadia were given merit by the Quezon City's office of the prosecutor, while the lawsuit on child abuse was dismissed.

Three complaints are still waiting for the court's resolution.

What now? Both parties have filed motions for reconsideration. 

Recently, Annabelle dropped Daisy Romualdez's name as Nadia's ally "na nagplano nito."

“Anong ginawa ko sa kanya, bakit niya ako inaaway? Ano, nainggit siya dahil ako ang pinakasalan ni Eduardo? Ako ang nanalo?"

The cause: Amalia Fuentes said, "Galit si Joey sa kanya..." She was referring to her late husband Joey Stevens.

Annabelle blamed it on not telling the former movie queen about Joey's alleged affair.

Their feud earned the public's attention right before Holy Week, when the confrontation happened at the wake of Joey.

Who won? No one yet.

What now? Both camps have not made a move since their unexpected encounter at the birthday of former President Joseph Estrada last April 19.

Meanwhile, Gloria Diaz's name was dragged in the issue as well.
