Pops Fernandez (left) gathered members of the PCCI and some of her celebrity friends for the first All-Star Golf cup—a fund-raising golf tournament held at the Ayala Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa on May 14.

Among the stars who came to support the concert queen are Sen. Tito Sotto (center) and her ex-husband Martin Nievera (right).

Sen. Tito Sotto attended the ceremonial tee-off where he was tasked to hit the first ball.

He left the country club soon after to prepare for work at the Senate, where the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona is being held.

Like Sen. Sotto, Martin Nievera didn't stay long as he had  another appointment that morning.

According to Pops, the Concert King is currently working on some new tunes that fans should watch for.

Pateros City Councilor Daisy Reyes was one of the tournament's celebrity participants.

The former beauty queen has been actively playing golf for several years now and has participated in other celebrity tourneys like the Diether Ocampo Charity Golf Tournament held last July 21, 2011 at Tagaytay Highlands. (CLICK HERE to view related photo gallery)

The fair-skinned Aiko had a skin peeling treatment a few days before and was advised to refrain from sun exposure to avoid skin damage.

"Kaso hindi ko talaga matanggihan si Pops, e!" she said contradicting rumors that there's tension between her and the singer who used to date her ex-husband Jomari Yllana.

Eppi Quizon cruised down the course in his golf cart with Aiko Melendez and their caddies in tow.

While on break, Daisy Reyes tried her hands on sports photography.

She took several pictures of the players in action and the beautiful landscape of Alabang Village's exclusive golf course.

As Pops tried to cool down with a mini fan, her hair accidentally got caught in its propellers. Luckily, Martin was there for the rescue and kindly held her hair to avoid another accident.
