The man once known as a ladies man says "the last woman" in his life would be Zsa Zsa Padilla. He was true to his word.

In the last 23 years, the couple have been together. They have two kids, Nicole and Zia. 

Europe is truly lovelier the second time around, say the couple, who had their second honeymoon in Europe in 2000.

"Lovey" is what Zsa Zsa would call Dolphy. Dolphy's own children (with other women) admire her for standing by their dad through the years.

Particularly during the many weeks before he died, Zsa Zsa is said to have never left Dolphy's side.

The couple loved to travel...

The Comedy King was a doting father to 18 children, whose names, birthdays, and shoe sizes he knew by heart.

Dolphy and Alma separated, according to his autobiography Dolphy: Hindi Ko Ito Narating na Mag-isa, because their personal lifestyles did not match.

His book is dedicated to overseas Filipino workers, who, like him, experienced working alone abroad.

In this photo taken during a celebration of Dolphy's 80th birthday, he is seen in his favored outfit for formal occasions: a tailored all-white suit paired with white shoes and a red hanky on his chest pocket.

In 2010, Dolphy was awarded the Grand Collar of the Order of the Golden Heart. This is the highest honor that the President of the Philippines can confer to a civilian.

According to GMA network's Lhar Santiago, the only other civilian so honored was Helen Keller.

Dolphy spent almost six decades of his life in the entertainment industry and had been with different generations of young actors and actresses.

Dolphy and then child star Jolina (in red) starred in the Metro Manila Film Fest 2002 movie, Home Alone Da Riber. Jolina says that she learned a lot from the Comedy King and that he will remain in her heart and mind.

Dolphy is seen here with KC Concepcion, the daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, and Richard Gutierrez, the son of Annabelle Rama and Eddie Gutierrez.

Eddie and Dolphy both came from Sampaguita Pictures. Sharon, in her eulogy to Dolphy, mentioned that her one career regret is that she did not get to appear in a film with the Comedy King.

These two veteran actors go back a long way! Gloria Romero appeared with Dolphy in the 1954 Sampaguita movie Dalagang Ilocana.
