Gerald Anderson, a premier Star Magic talent, says he rarely has time to go to the gym because of his busy work schedule.

These days, the handsome man is in the media spotlight because of his "romance" with Sarah Geronimo. The question everyone has for him is: Has he given up on Sarah?

Even without the gym work, the young actor says he works at maintaining a healthy body by eating the right food and doing short exercises on his own at home.

When YES! magazine did a pictorial of Gerald in his home, he had a huge trampoline on the empty lot beside his home. And during the pictorial's downtime, he kept jumping up and down that trampoline and doing somersaults, too.

He was doing backflips so many feet up in the air, the YES! team was getting nervous: What if he lands outside the trampoline? There was no netting around the base! 

Before having his topless photos taken for Men's Health, a Summit Media franchise magazine, a smiling Gerald did several pushups, apparently to make his abs look more toned. As it was, he was all abs already!

These were the clothes and pairs of sneakers used during the photo shoot. Most of them were from Nike, one of Gerald's favorite sports apparel and shoe brands.

Getting ready for the outdoor shots, Gerald wears shoes from Titan, a basketball specialty store which sponsors some of his rubber shoes.

Gerald is growing to be a favorite male product endorser among the young stars today. And in showbiz, everyone knows that that is where the money is!

In between takes, Gerald checks out the photographs. He was satisfied.

In his previous interviews, Gerald said basketball is his most favorite sport. He really wants to try playing for the big league, and last year he attended a few court workouts with the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) team of PBA D-League.

He also agreed to be the cover of Men's Health August 2012 issue because, he said: "Gusto ko ‘yong concept ngayon, kasi about basketball."

Gerald cannot play basketball often these days because of his crazy showbiz sked, but when he has time: "I try my best para makapaglaro, maisingit man lang."

Gerald has been known to organize basketball tournaments featuring fellow stars, all in the name of charity. They are pretty successful, too.

Wow! He's hanging by the rim of the basket, and he makes it look easy! (Uh, try it.)

For busy people who want to stay fit like him, Gerald has this reminder: "You just need to be healthy, to eat right, and dapat exercise palagi."
