"The Filipinos have showed such grace in these dark times. You are an inspiration to the world," Gary tells the crowd, referring to the resilience of Pinoys at a time when rain and flood are devastating the country. 

He started the second set by thanking the Filipino fans who made it to their concert despite the calamity that Metro Manila and nearby provinces experienced in the past days.

"I don't know what will happen if my home and my family were taken away from me. So we'll be singing this song out of respect for your humanity and kindness. We'll never forget this."

Snow Patrol dedicated their song "Lifening" to the Filipino audiece. Gary again shares his deepest sympathies to those greatly affected by the calamity. 

They wrap up the concert by singing their 2009 hit single, "Just Say Yes."  "We will be back in the Philippines as soon as we can," says Gary Lightbody.
