Donita Rose served as the event's host. She was introduced as "one of the '90s most popular TV personalities in Asia" and the "first Filipina to grace the cover of Time magazine." When she emerged, Donita remarked, "Nagustuhan niyo ba yung introduction? Ang ganda noh! Ako nagsulat..." Chuckling filled the room.

Daphne Oseña was invited to talk about parenting, which, she acknowledged, "is such a huge industry." But she says she only has one goal for each day—and that is for her kids to have fun at home. 

"Parenting or motherhood is one of the most exciting things that could happen to us," said Donita. She added, "It's like going on a field trip."

"... and making sure that your kids have what they need."
