In Capernaum where Jesus is said to have taught. "'Di naman kumidlat noong nandoon ako," he smiles.

Jon says he definitely finds this picture of a little coastal town in Yugoslavia precious. "Binomba na kasi 'yan. Baka wala na nga 'yung lugar na 'yan."

By the statue of David at the Accademia Gallery in Florence, Italy. "May mga Pinoy na nagpa-autograph sa akin. Na-shock tuloy 'yung ibang katabi namin. Kaysa kay David nagpa-picture, sa akin!" With him are friends Joel Mercado and Cecile Matutina.

Outside the Holocaust Museum where Jon listened to a long recording of names of children who, he says, "never grew up because they were killed."

Behind him is the famous Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

At a Station of the Cross in Medjugore in Yugoslavia. "Another thing that takes me out of the country is to accompany my mom to her pilgrimages."

In 1980, Jon was an exchange student at Glandorf. Here he stands by a snowman with foster dad Dale Elliot and foster brother Bradley. "That's my half-brother,"Jon jokes, "because you just see half of him in the picture."
