For its first TV serialization project, GMA-7 premieres its movie-turned-television series entitled Sinasamba Kita, which airs on April 30.

The star-studded powerhouse cast of Sinasamba Kita is led by (from left, clockwise) Wendell Ramos as Jerry, Sheryl Cruz as Divina, Carlo Aquino as Oscar, and Valerie Concepcion as Nora. Nora (Valerie Concepcion) and Divina (Sheryl Cruz) are half-sisters who not only share one father, but also fall in love with the same man, Jerry (Wendell Ramos). Nora (Valerie Concepcion) enrolls in Nursing, while living with her sister, Divina. She is taken by her sister away from her mother, Corazon (Gina Alajar), and lives in a mansion together with her sister's mom, Sylvia (Jackie Lou Blanco) and aunt Isabellita (Bing Loyzaga). The two make Nora's life in the mansion as miserable as they can. In the original movie, Nora was played by Lorna Tolentino.

Divina (Sheryl Cruz) is described as a rich and self-centered girl. A tragic accident leads to the death of her mother, Sylvia, and she blames Nora for the incident. Even if she keeps Nora under her wing, Divina begins to give her the cold treatment. Her feelings of resentment intensify when she finds out that the guy she loves is attracted to her half-sister. In the original movie, Divina was played by Vilma Santos.

Sylvia (Jackie Lou Blanco), mother to Divina and first wife of Don Jose Ferrer, is not happy about Nora's transfer to the mansion. She and Isabellita decide to maltreat this newcomer.

Corazon, played by Gina Alajar, is Nora's biological mother. She came from a poor family but was the woman chosen by the late Don Jose Ferrer for his mistress. She becomes distraught when Divina (Sheryl Cruz) takes her only daughter (Valerie) away from her.

Oscar, portrayed by Carlo Aquino, is Nora's (Valerie Concepcion) childhood friend, who secretly adores the young lady and persistently courts her even if her heart belongs to someone else. In the original movie, Oscar was played by Phillip Salvador.

Jerry, played by Wendell Ramos, is the apple of Divina's eye. He meets Nora when they are both stranded in a remote island. After being rescued, the two lose communication with each other but his heart continues to yearn for Nora. In the original movie, Jerry was played by Christopher de Leon.

Isabellita (Bing Loyzaga) is Divina's aunt. She connives with the widow Sylvia (Jackie Lou Blanco) to make Nora's (Valerie Concepcion) life in the mansion miserable.
