Sarah Geronimo, or Sarah Asher Geronimo in real life, graduates from high school, on April 30, at the Angelicum College in Sto. Domingo Church, Quezon City.
The 18-year-old Pop Star Princess is the third child of Delfin and Divina Geronimo. At the age of 14, she won the grand prize in the defunct singing talent search, Star For A Night, on March 1, 2003.
The dutiful daughter marches with her proud parents, Divina and Delfin (both in picture). The boy beside Sarah's dad is her younger brother, Ezekiel Gabriel.
Sarah leads the graduating class in singing "Lupang Hinirang." Singing in front of so many people has become an ordinary occurrence in her life.
Her very first performance onstage happened with Pinky Marquez and Richard Reynoso at a mall show. She sang "Pasko Na Naman." She was two years old then.
From Pen-Pen de Sarapen,Ang TV, and Next, Sarah is now one of the biggest teen stars of ABS-CBN. She is also expected to take over Regine Velasquez's crown when the time comes.
Sarah earns her high-school diploma through a home-study program. The young star was clear from the start that she wanted to get an education. Now that she has graduated from high school, she plans to pursue a college degree from the Conservatory of Music of the University of Santo Tomas.
A very happy Sarah surrounded by contemporaries. In the world outside school, Sarah is known not only for her singing talent but also her acting skills. In 2003, she was given her own teleserye—Sarah, The Teen Princess. Last year, she played the lead role in Bituing Walang Ningning, a sineserye based on Sharon Cuneta's movie.
She is currently being seen on Love Spell Sweet Sixty. Plus, she is set to do another sineserye, which is a remake of Sharon's movie Pangarap na Bituin.
