PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kept close tabs on the
reality show Pinoy Big Brother Season 2, from the show's premiere last
February 25 to the Big Night, which took place on June 30. Beatriz Saw of Bicol
bested sixteen housemates in becoming the Big Winner at the Big Dome.

The second season of Pinoy Big Brother ended with
much fanfare at the Araneta Coliseum last June 30. This event marked
the end of the four-month tumultuous journey of the housemates inside Big
Brother's House.

PBB Season 2 Big Winner Beatriz Saw garnered 1,571,556 votes
or 30.29 percent of the total votes. In one of the episodes of PBB, Big Brother
placed a golden apple in the middle of the sala and placed a placard that said
"Para sa karapat-dapat na manalo [For the person worthy of winning]. Bea had
the guts to touch the apple but in the end, it was Wendy Valdez who took the
fruit.

Auditing
firm SGV and Company tallied the votes, dating back from when Robert Woods II
was evicted until the very night of voting, June 30. The firm verified the
number of votes coming in until the Big Winner was announced.
