Carlo J. Caparas was so pleased by the support of President
Gloria Macapagal Arroyo that he declared in his speech, "Sana tumagal beyond
2010 ang paglilingkod niya!"

The five komiks titles—CJC Tagalog Komiks Hiwaga ng
Kadena de Amor; CJC Gwapo Komiks Ano Ang Lihim ng Beauty Queen?; CJC
Super Funny Komix Gagambino; CJC OFW Super-Stories Andres de Saya;
and CJC Pilipino Klasiks Kroko Takas sa Zoo—will be sold at P10 per
issue starting September 4, 2007.
Cinemanila festival director Amable "Tikoy" Aguiluz VI was
present during the ceremony that took place at the NCCA building in Intramuros,
Manila. The office of Cinemanila, which is scheduled to begin on August 8, is
also located in the said building.
GMA-7 senior vice
president for entertainment Wilma Galvante (left) and program manager Redgie Acuña-Magno were
present during the launching and unveiling rites to show support for the
writer-director who penned Bakekang and the upcoming Kamandag.
Carlo J. Caparas tells the press the advantages of reading
komiks. "Ang komiks hindi kamukha ng computer ‘yan na hindi mo madadala sa
dagat...Ang komiks ilagay mo lang sa bulsa mo, libangan mo na siya." Beside Carlo
