For Ruffa Gutierrez and Yilmaz Bektas: a 10-foot apple-walnut fondant, with Swarovski crystal trimmings. A member of the security personnel guarded the cake, but that didn't stop the guests from taking home the precious crystals.
For Eula Valdez and Richard Litonjua: a fondant cake, decorated with confectionery starfish and seashells resting on grated roasted coconut made to look like sand—perfect for their beach wedding party.
For Matet de Leon and Mickey Estrada: a three-layered wedding cake, with floral patterns on the traditional white fondant, accented with fresh pink roses.
For Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz: an amazing six-tiered wedding cake accented with stylized sun patterns. Layers of fresh spring blooms sandwiched between the tiers made for an extra-impressive confection.
For Tonton Gutierrez and Glydel Mercado: a huge wedding cake in the color motif of blue and white, decorated all around with real as well as pastillage flowers. The fondant made an ideal canvas for such decorative flourishes as piped royal icing stems and lilies of the valley.
For Vicky Morales and King Reyno: a stately cake with cream-colored fondant designs embedded with tint gold balls. Fresh pink flowers, including roses and stargazers, completed the picture.
For Assunta de Rossi and Jules Ledesma: an elegant ecru and pale gold creation, displayed on rich gold table fabric and serving as an elegant focal point in a ballroom decorated in fiery autumn colors.
For Raymond Lauchengco and Mia Rocha: a four-tiered wedding cake, edged in the couple's theme color of light gold, adding a regal presence to the elegant evening. Baker Christine Siy-Uy came up with fondant icing that echoed the leaf patterns on Mia's gown.
For Marissa Sanchez and Ian Nava: a three-layered cake, with fondant icing draped gracefully all over. The couple's favorite color appeared in the aqua blue accents, and flowers and fruits were used in the unique cake table details.
For Jeffrey Santos and Ynna Ijiran: a sunset-hued two-layered cake, which got an exotic punch with tropical flowers and white dendrobiums. Sea shells spread around the cake table added to the resort feel of the setup.
For Bong Revilla and Lani Mercado: a Goldilocks cake with a centennial motif, decorated with miniature versions of different Philippine flags used during the country's revolutionary period.
